I hope some 3p company jumps in and does them right with mp treatment. I doubt mp lio convoy will do well enough in the japanese market to warrant an expansion into bw2... especially thay far down the rabbit hole

I would prefer that HasTak revisits them at some point now that Combiners are on the table again.

I also read that the Takara version does not suffer from the breakage that the Hasbro toys do.
I assume that the toys are the same, but that is just an assumption.

They are the same mold, but takara used different shades/ colors of plastic. Many of the takara metals had cybertron/ destron written on them, rather than the character name.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Japanese single and two pack Primal's are the same. They are different from the US release though as they use sparkly clear pink plastic instead of brown.

The artwork for the BW MPs is really wonderful, recreating the artwork from the original Japanese boxes.

The packaging would be so much cooler with those images on the front. I always prefer some original artwork over a photo of the actual product.
I wonder if we can get ahold of hi-res versions of these.

It's a shame they're not on TT's official website. Perhaps if we ask them nicely.

Actually I was referring to the Megatrons both single and double pack. I keep looking at photos and it almost looks like the dual pack has lighter plastic than the regular D-40. Lightning is different in ever picture so it's entirely possible I may be crazy.

Ah, my bad! I've only seen the single in packaging in stores but as far as I could tell it looked identical to my 2-pack Megatron.

2021 is the 25th anniversary, right?

I have a feeling next year they will just continue with the WFC line with part 3 and Mid 2021 to celebrated the 25th anniversary they will reveal one figure of a new Beast Wars Trilogy line for 2022.

Hasbro did absolutely nothing for the 20th anniversary aside from a sparsely painted Air Attack Optimus Primal in Optimus Prime colors (wasn’t even Primal Prime’s deco layout) for Year of the Monkey... the new team HATES Beast Wars and ignores it whenever possible. They’re very clearly Trukk Not Munky guys   We need some women on that team again... but anyways, expect nothing next year.

They don’t “HATE” bw, that’s just not their focus. Otherwise primal wouldn’t have even been an option of the potp poll

Creative Beasts Studios, the guy who did the accurate articulated Raptor toys and just finished up the Ceratopians, is going to start on T-rex builds. He is looking for suggestions. Mergatron, S1 Megatron especially, is a must in my book. Possibly T-Wrecks as well.

Here's the thing. They guy is a small business with kickstarter backing. If you go flood his page with BW decos, you must put your money with your mouth is and buy them. He's already a Beast Wars fan and did a quasi Guiledart homage. He'll do them, you've just got to buy them.

Anyways, go leave a comment for BW Megatron here.
    Creative Beast Studio

EDIT: On a second reading, it looks like he is asking for species suggestions, not decos
I'd hold off on suggesting anything just yet.

Doesn't look like they transform though. The guy definately has skills. Would love to see an mp scale terrorsaur... especially if he tf'd.
