You are wrong, but here thats a good thing, yes?

Its limited, but if you pull his hip piece forward and untab his butt flap you can get 2 ratchet clicks either way

 

The back panels tab onto the back of the hips and can prevent the rotation.

May I ask what kind of stand you've used for Quietus and where to get it? I'm still kinda pissed he doesn't come with one. Same goes for Phoenix. I just find it weird that the flying figures don't get a stand but a figure like Sovereign does. Doesn't really makes sense to me.

 

I use a couple 1/6 figure stands from Hot Toys. They have a metal articulated arm that is sturdy enough for some of my heavier figures. Getting them positioned can be tricky sometimes as they are meant to grab the waist of a 1/6 figure but I’ve found that Quietus is the easiest to use with the grabber. I should get some that are all black that way I could leave them in some shots instead of always trying to shoot around them. I use the one for Marty the most as it has a longer arm and wider base I need to weigh it down sometimes.

 

Thanks for the reply! And you're right, they would look better when they are all black. I want the stands just for display purposes so an Avengers stand or something like that wouldn't work for me unfortunately.

Battle of the number ones!

 

By sheer dumb luck I happened to see toydojo had one of these guys instock yesterday. So I bought it. It’s the original color scheme. So I may swap the pink bits and have one on display in that sweet sweet alt mode.

i mistakenly made a glaring paint chip on my 1st edition quietus while trying to remove an ill-placed decepticon symbol. Is it better to email service@fanstoys now, or when Chinese new year holiday is finished?

for those who got a replacement chest for theirs, was it easy to install?
