I did see your post about the spotlights but didnt get them because it's the metallic version. I'll check when I get home to see if the caps are still in place!

of course still bummed about the ankle splits on both fronts. if it doesn't have any issue with stability then not a huge deal since you cant see it when posed or in bot mode but I dont want to mishandle and break it altogether

Now that we are about a year into this figure, how has he aged? Is the paint chipping an issue that has gotten worse or is just a friction issue from tolerances during transformation? Any other weird issues?

I've got a squad of dinobots missing a Swoop, but I've been holding out for a chrome 2nd run to fix the paint. Haven't seen any signs of one though.

While it took a couple of months, @ShowZStore came through with a replacement back torso. My Swoop is now complete.

For those who are looking for replacement feet for their chrome Gaudenter hit up Showz. Gigapower really let me down and I have no faith in them anymore as their service or lack thereof has become more like the kind offered by Toyworld. I asked Gigapower several months ago for those items and they said they would get them, but the last couple of times I have followed up with them on the status it has been dead silence. Shame on them. Thanks to Showz for coming thru for me. Even though I only purchased one from him and I needed two pairs, he sold me two sets for dirt cheap! Kudos and major props to him!

After a promising conversation in November 2018(!) I haven’t got any replacement parts from GP. Since two months they aren’t answering to any message. And I’m very polite.

Just remember folks,it took me about a Full year (2019) to finally receive my Guttur hips. If they said you're on a list then you technically should be fine. Just the wait sucks and I totally know what you're all goin thru.

I was looking to buy a used Zeta Bruticus but it had broken turret on Brawl. I actually asked Show Z if I can buy the replacement part from them and they were OK with it. Unfortunately I didn't get to go through with the transaction because said Bruticus was already sold. For what it's worth, it's not like Show Z said no. But then again I have bought a shit ton of figures from them.

I have the best luck with replacement parts going through my seller. The only time I got any successful dealings directly with a manufacturer was with KFC. And this was after no responses to an email I sent months prior.

Doesn’t hurt to ask. The worst thing he can say is no. Good luck.

I just got mine together, and holy smokes it is beautiful. Has anyone else had any issues in dino mode with the stand, though? It seems SUPER wobbly. I think I got the 2nd run because I didn't have any lights or remote. When I plug the chest piece into the stand, the piece on Swoop itself (with the 2 metal pegs) seems to want to come loose. In fact, one time, the right side came off and the metal peg was completely out of the hole! Am I doing something wrong, or is it just shoddy? Is there anything I can do to make it more secure? He is on the stand now, and looking quite majestic, but I fear one solid bump on the desk may send him tumbling out of the air!

I don't think anyone's has a strong connection with the stand for swoop.
Its sort of a balancing thing where the stand just slots in but will topple of you push it off those loose slotting joints if that makes sense.

Yea i have read of the stand being a little wonky. Honestly Have not tried using it as the thought of him taking a tumble scares the crap out of me.

I’ll second that. I just got a message early in the morning about my replacement feet from gigapower. Definitely ask someone like Showz. Here is a screenshot.

does your chest piece want to detach? I guess it is best to display it in a place that it can't get bumped!

Reliable, prompt after sales support is one area where FT, XTB/KFC have GP beaten.
