Well according to the film's synopsis. "Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path." Now imagine if there are creatures that hunt by silence in the movie.
1. Godzilla vs Kong 2. Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Black Widow 4. the Eternals 5. Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run
These are the ones I have the most interest in at the moment. Black Widow Eternals Bad Boys for life A Quiet Place 2 Top Gun Ghostbusters
The Lodge Fast & Furious 9 Tenet Halloween Kills Dune Promising Young Woman Saint Maud After Yang Zola
Only movie I really feel genuinely excited for is Ghostbusters Afterlife. I'm kinda on the fence with everything else or have a casual interest. I agree with Chopperface, after this year was a hell of a year for movies, 2020 seems pretty lacklustre in comparison.
Mulan Wonder Woman 1984 Black Widow A Quiet Place Part 2 007 No Time to Die Snake Eyes Fantasy Island Birds or Prey Greyhound Venom 2 Eternals West Side Story Top Gun Maverick Monster Hunter Jungle Cruise Godzilla Vs. Kong The New Mutants Sonic the Hedgehog Purge 5 The Tomorrow War The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard Morbius Thats about all I can see that are worth watching for me Well going by the trailer, they seem to be implying that they will be dealing with the human survivors.
I don't get Fantasy Island. Since when is Fantasy Island a horror story? Anyway, I forgot Morbius comes out this year, so I guess that is the movie I'm looking forward to the most at this point in time. I expect Birds of Prey will be 2020's Hellboy.
Dune I suppose. I'm not a superhero film guy so none of those offerings interest me. I thoroughly enjoyed A Quiet Place, and have no interest in seeing part 2. There was no need for a second part. It told a full story.
7 or so comic book movies coming out this year. We're beyond overkill and it's never gonna stop. I wish we had more sci-fi coming out this year.
