Nova is Optimus ancestor and wouldn't make sense turn him as a villain.

 

Uh...the only reason Nova Prime exists is to become a villain. DOTM Sentinel Prime is basically no different than Nova in virtually every instance of the character short of becoming Nemesis Prime sometimes.

 

i'd rather the main villian of any Optimus Prime movie did not have Prime in his name .

 

I'd go back to basics and make Megatron the villain of an Optimus movie.

 

I'm really tired of Primes being the main villains in the films. If so many former Primes are evil jerks, it destroys the grandeur attached to the title.

 

The was kinda the point in IDW from my understanding.

Did Optimus and the DJD ever cross paths in IDW? I know Optimus knew Glitch from his Supercop days, but that's about it. The group doesn't really strike me as one that would have a specific feud with Optimus Prime, considering that they primarily target Decepticons as opposed to Autobots. Plus, I don't think Hasbro would want to sell toys of the DJD or put them in a movie considering that they transform into literal torture devices.

 

...eh, no. Let's pass on any more evil Primes (original or otherwise) for once.

The only Prime I would be interested in seeing go evil is Onionus Prime. Even then though, I would rather have Drek's Head, Ogrelord, Swampwave, Weed-Ratbat, or Farquaadus as the main antagonist before going into an evil Ogrebot or Prime.
