It’s a little too big for 1:54 scale, but just like with their Magnus, I can make an exception due to the size of the alt mode

What a meaningless statement for a show where bots were different sizes from one scene to the next.

Totally agree. Let me remember the episode where Soundwave has the same size than Devastator.

I’d prefer astrotrain smaller but I can live with this. Kinda hilarious I’m using a leader class in legends. 8EA6FBE8-E7C6-4075-9094-82A9D457299D.jpeg

The heights do change due to hand-drawn human error, but they do revolve around a central scale.

    The *Definitive* Sunbow Scale Chart

Is Iron Factory Blitzwing not of your liking? or is he not available anymore? While he's not one of my fav IF I have no issues with his role compared to others in terms of looks or size.

sidenote. When IF did Blizzard I really though we'd be seeing more tripplechargers. I wouldn't mind that much if it wasnt for springer and ... I must confess .. Whirl.

great pic/collection, although if i may, Sir... I much prefer my original perfect effect reflector, especially now that NA has unleashed minibots.

Scale arguments are a waste of energy. Kids imagined characters’ sizes differently because it depended on which episodes made those initial impressions, add to that the mass-shifting element that clearly occurred and compound that with toys that made no sense size-wise.

The Sunbow Chart was a suggestion that the animators chose to ignore often. It’s only good if you care about how it was supposed to have looked.

Put together a collection that feels right to you because in the end, it’s about your personal childhood and no one else’s.

Nice pic! We just need Stunticons and Blitzwing. I don't care much for Octane

Everyone collects differently. Scale is important to me personally, because I like to collect in the style of scale modelling.

You might not be interested in scale discussions, but you don’t have to demean something just because it isn’t interesting to you.

I am not demeaning anyone. I said ARGUMENTS are a waste of time. Discussions are cool but we have to understand that scale is fluid within the G1 Transformers continuity. The animators did not stick to the scale chart so you cannot blame people for having different perceptions of size and presence. And that is not taking into account of people who believe in real world alt mode scaling.

You have Starscream standing on Bruticus’s shoulder in one episode and Ultra Magnus holding the Constructicons like little puppies in another.

People laugh at or put others down because of their choices. All I am saying is that it isn’t that serious. If you like a certain scale, who I am to say that you are wrong?

But thanks for reinforcing the idea that everyone collects differently.

If you consider scale arguments to be waste of time, then why are you arguing about scale

I need help from all you Legends Collectors. I only collect MP line but I have a cousin who wants a good representation of Starscream because that was his first Transformer when he was a kid. He doesn't want to pony up for a MP size so I let him know about the Legends Class series. I found a DX9 War-in-Pocket Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker boxed set but I don't have any information if they are any good or if I should look for something from Magic Square or New Age. Can someone school me on these figures?
