Zoids rule. The only thing holding me back is I want to see the combined mode before I buy into this set.

 

Same here, this is actually potentially the only instance I might double dip on two different MP combiner sets. Predaking is too cool. Especially if the Zeta end up in the neighbourhood of Kronos pricewise 

 

I hope they end up in the neighbourhood of Kronos in both price as well as size.

I agree. I personally don't really go for the stylized look. I just hope Zeta sticks to the formula that has worked wonders for their combiners.

 

They've already shown they have abandoned the parts forming for this release so its uncharted territory now.

 

Then I guess that pretty much guarantees that my wallet will abandon their new direction

 

I'm not writing them off yet, but given the redecos they've done in thier 1st 2 combiners as well I'm not in the pre order boat either.

 

Yeah I fell for that with their Combaticon and Aerialbot combiners. Now I have two sets of the same figures (Aerialbots are on the way). I wish I would have known they were doing this in the first place. Definitely will not be doing the preordering thing

is it me or does this design look a lot like it will work like feral rex and all the older combienrs....leader bot's hips are combiners hips...shins become thighs etc. if the combined mode is to be normal zeta size...that leader bot is gonna be pretty huge.

Looks to me like the lower 1/3rd of the thighs belong to the leg bots, chest opens up and knee joint and lower thigh folds into chest and flip down the lower beast mode jaw that looks to be resting on the back of the combined mode thigh then flip the beast mode head around.

So that leaves upper 2/3rd of thigh for razorclaw to pack away somewhere. Need more photos but so far this is making me want to sell my nero rex.

If... and it's a cautious if at that... But if they are moving away from their usual way of producing combiners, the way I see it the leader bot is going to have to scale with FT's Skyfire. I really don't know what to think about this at the moment.. whether they've designed the thighs and waist to look exactly the same as the leader bot to give the illusion of a "mass-shift", or whether they are actually using the main bot itself for the thighs to chest? But you're right... In order to scale with TW Devy and Zeta Bruticus and Superion these bots are going to have to be huge! It worries me as what they've been doing is the way to go, and to keep going, for me.

You can clearly see razor claws feet and beast bits folded up on the back of the thighs.

 

Have we seen physical models of Razorclaw yet?
