Off for my annual eye screening as part of my diabetes monitoring shortly. Hopefully I won't need the chart from FeckArse Industries :D

I am curious, although pleased from a food hygiene point of view, why Shaggy From Scooby Doo is serving behind the bar, wearing a Tie Fighter Pilot’s mask.

Is Scooby in the kitchen? You wont fulfil many food orders if that is the case.

I too have been enjoying Lego again in recent times, due to two factors –

    · Cheap Movie 2 kits in Tesco, they keep reducing them and some are now at about a third of their original price (although that still hasn’t tempted me to buy the rather basic Wyldstyle case set).

    · Putting together what I can from a mixed box I bought many months ago as it had what looked like parts of a Landspeeder in it, from said box I have now made – a Tie Fighter, the Landspeeder, a large Spider Droid, a Speeder Bike, a Jedi Fighter with booster ring.... you know how you see just that one special piece (example, the Tie Fighter window) that can make or break a kit and think “ I wonder if the rest is in there”?

No figures but that’s what KOs are for.

I think the newer sets are really getting the look of the vehicles bang-on, although it restricts the ability to customise/bodge them a bit, I would only warn against droppage, its not like you can just slot them back together any more, I dropped the Rogue Shadow many moons ago and the thought of going through that again to create what is a messy disaster of an end result fills me with dread.
(Please see also for the same sad story, Destiny's Bounty)

In other news, I have built a log cabin out of snapped-in-two orange Matchmakers on my desk,

But I doubt it’ll survive through the winter...

...or even the next 15 minutes.

    It didn’t.

    Robots you ask, nay demand?

I have just finished going through the last of my 'proper' huge white boxes (think a thin medium fridge) of TFs to triage for an extension that will present me with display opportunities, I thought I might get them down to 5 but between the biggies like Unicron, Armada Metroplex and multiple LAM Ops and Jetfires (second for combo-nooch) that was one box gone and Op took more than one himself so 6 at the moment.

But that doesn't count all the boxed stuff, or the oddities...or Star wars...or the Zords....

Here is just a tiny part of the endeavour....

    Pity me.....Laters

@Braddock - not to pull this thread off-course, but there have been some stonking lego deals this festive season - cleared out two Hawkins Bazarrs of their SW sets - £80 sets for £25? - just mental - fave of them is surprisingly the AT hauler from the Solo movie - much more involved build than i had initially thought, and rock-solid when complete - have also completed my NYD tradition of ordering the new Modular - should help pass a weekend soon ;-)

Robits? - came back into work to a small mountain of Amazon.com parcels which i'm fairly sure contain at least SS Mixmaster, Siege Crosshairs and Spinister - and there's another parcel that i'm unsure of contents - feels robit-y..
also received MP Hound on NYE - wonderful effort - certainly better than the Gundog who was place holding prior to announcement ( and i really rate gundog too!)

UW Defensor joined the wardrobe of doom... financial doom.
Now my combiner collection is complete. I realised I had left out Victorion, so... I put it on ebay. Fuck Victorion.

Some fancy new listings for tfs! I'm very excited for reveals of ss blitzwing, but I'm super curious about earthrise voyager megs. I love my siege meggy, but his wobbly head flap and lack of wrist swivel annoy me, so I'm very much open to something new and improved.

Oh, and voyager Quintesson? I'm sure his alt mode will be something very arbitrary (space squid? Space lamp? Space hentai cosplayer?) But I can't help get excited by the prospect of owning an iconic villain from the 86 movie.

It's the Central Perk set from the sitcom Friends, so it's meant to be Gunther serving coffee, but with a TIE pilot mask. Obviously ;)

Before I start this new year, I must thank everyone on this board for a great first year on the forum. I haven’t been here long, but I can already say that it’s one of the most welcoming sites I’ve ever been on. And so, I’ll say again, thank you.

also, really enjoying Siege Flywheels. “Skytread” is a cool name, but he’ll always be Flywheels as far as I’m concerned. the quality control is great in my figure, and the colours work surprising well together. And, to make a cool figure even cooler, I found a way to combine his two vehicle modes into one jet-tank!

SS Blitzwing: repaint of SS Thundercracker
Earthrise Voyager Megs: re-release of Combat Megatron
Quintesson: downscaled, legends-sized re-release of Energon Alpha Quintesson, plus deluxe-sized Kicker figure.

It's good to hear from you my so coolest dear Vanessa. I sure hope she will !
As for space for plastic crack, I wouldn't mind if instead of those non-existent flying pill cars we'd get a 5th dimension too.
I managed to prepare a little spot somehow for my still to hear about Crosshair but I have not the slightest idea where to put anything that'll follow. It surely is a way for the universe to warn us to stop but hey, since when dowe ever listen to anything it has to say ?

Des bisous and happy new year to you and yours.

Going for intimacy and soul opening. In Space !

Nah, not really. Got a few ideas though.
And thank you very much my friend.

Here is hoping SS Blitzwing is not a repaint, I really want a Movie accurate Alt mode...I mean this Blitzwing isnt a triple changer so that doesnt have to compromise the alt mode

Got my invoice for SS Soundwave from Kapow. And since my local Smyths didn't have him tonight Andy gets my money. Can chill secure in the knowledge he'll be on his way to my door.

Quick question: I Ordered Astrotrain from Comics and Cocktails on the 30th, and they’re back from Christmas holidays today. Would it be wise to email them about dispatching it?

    happy new year

I am hoping it is a better year than 2019.

got a question about the Fanstoys menasor and Superion.

I am right in thinking that the menasor legs and arms are just the car clipped on to the limb, rather than the car transforming in to the limb?

and is this the same for Superion?

trying to decide if I should buy them or not.

not convinced though but I do love a military jet
