When is the re-run expected to be available to preorder or have I missed it?

 

Damn, so how rough are you intending to be with yours that you aren’t satisfied with that demonstration?

As a particularly satisfied owner of Winged Dragon, I shall reinforce what @Thalyn described in that, the paint is rich and sturdy and the scrapes are down to clearance issues in select areas.
If JX are making tweaks for V2 then resolving this issue should be top of the list.

 

i think most of the scratches are caused by the (relatively) sharp corners of the figure, which are everywhere. when you transforming it, the parts hit and scratch each others very frequently.
i am gonna try some metallic red paint to dip them. maybe this one

I'll admit that Jobby's review is the only review I've watched of this figure, but it didn't really look like the joints were too tight or anything. And yeah, chipping showing up on places like the forehead, as seen above, isn't really what I'd expect from parts hitting each other.

 

if you have chance to transform it, you will see how it happens. a video doesn't tell much of that part of the story. mine has the same scratch marks as TheImmortalMoo's pic, at the edge of the helmet and that spot of the left side of the helmet. the position is almost identical. coincident?

I'm definitely waiting to see how the second run turns out before trying to get one, just to be sure how the paint turns out.

 

I am also curious what they have improved for the second batch. I don't remember they reveal that.

I've... never seen that picture before. Yikes. That looks like some kind of gouging being caused when transforming him, where that part of his forehead gets pegged in behind the hip skirts. And, looking at Jobby's review (I've not seen it before, either), it looks like there may be some corresponding damage on the underneath of said skirts.

So whether that's clearance in that particular area being an issue, or unclear instructions leading to parts coming into contact that shouldn't...? I mean, it looks like that particular damage could have been caused by either closing the skirts over the scalp OR trying to peg the scalp in after having closed the skirts, either of which would be more of a shearing kind of damage. Either way, that's a definite point that JX should have taken a closer look at.
