i requested replacement parts for deathwish so hopefully XTB will help me. i sent them a request just before

I had no idea i was missing the front hip flap on the right leg when i had him in bot mode. I was blind as a bat. i asked to see if they can send me the thighs due to the scratches. if they can't, they can't.

 

1st I understand it's all personal taste, some people like the stunicons carbots as big as Superion members (like myself), some people like stunicons carbots same size as Autobot carbots, it's all fine.

But I think XTB makes Gravestone too big, (maybe FT as well), if stunicons carbots should be scale with Autobot carbots, then why Gravestone as Motermaster is so much taller than Optimus Prime?

 

yeah it baffles me that they made him scale with the other motormasters and stunticons but not their own stunticon set

 

I have Deathwish from the first batch and also have a missing part. Contacted x-tranbots in the middle of June and they told me they don't have the parts and I need to wait. Since then no word from them. I emailed them again a month ago and they didn't respond.
I don't understand how some people were able to get their replacement parts shortly after release of the figure, while I've been waiting for over 6 months and still nothing.

 

I think he was modding it through necessity rather than choice as it was a replacement shoulder for Overheat.

I've received replacement shoulders from XTB and they have also been cracked straight out of the package.

 

see What happens. I'm looking on the floor to see if it fell out. it sucks when i am missing a hip flap. i PM'ed ibot as well so hopefully he can assist me.

I hate to spend extra money just to have a part that should have been included at the start.

 

Well I guess you're in an amazingly fortunate position where noone is forcing you to buy this and you have 3 other options.

XTB gravestone is about the right size IMHO.

Yeah. The size difference between FT team is not that huge, at least FT team didn't try to force the limb carbots same height as Autobot carbots while its MM is 1 head taller than Autobots counterpart.

 

Where do i get from, replacement parts for Overheat. The shoulder cracked during the first transformation, yay. I have already sent without success a message to FB and to two email addresses i had found.

So why you posting in this thread then if you've made your mind up? Go and enjoy the ones you like.

There's little point in trying to force your opinion in a thread of ppl who have chosen a different option to you. You don't have to convince us you made the right choice, be confident in your own taste and likes.

Gravestone and his team are not much different between Prime and his team but everyone is magically OK with the Autobot scenario. Funny that!

You want bigger car bots then go for it man, we're in the fantastic position of having the choice of what fits our wants and shelves best so whatever floats your boat. Again, no need to convince us if you're happy.

 

Because Motormaster is traditionally an entire tractor trailer, not just a cab like partsforming Optimus Prime. This is why Roadking or any other Motormaster being slightly larger than OP while carbots remain the same size on both teams (because they're all robots that turn into similarly-sized cars, thus have similar mass to one another) still results in a reasonable masterpiece scaled set of Stunticons. Do the carbots look short next to Motormaster in botmode? Yes, but that's what I'd expect to see in a properly scaled representation of the team so that is right on the mark, imho.

 

RE Gravestone and teams size being too short in relation - We get it with the size differences and your opinions. It's been said in pretty much every 3p Menasor thread by now. Haha, it's like you desperately need to repeat it so you feel better about your own purchase decision. This is literally not a problem for many of us and has been clear for a while now since paiks video released.
But please, don't let me stop you for creating a banner for a plane to fly, just remember to use all caps as it makes it easier for those with bad eyesight to read, we need to ensure every man woman and child knows that xtb MM is too big and looks like a parent to a family of stunticon children hahaha.

 

I personally prefer the seeker sized limb bots myself and, yeah, I know the cartoon's scale is all over the place. Here's a shot from Key to Vector Sigma showing a towering Motormaster and car bot sized limbs...


EDIT: and here's one from the same episode where either Motormaster has shrunk (most likely) or the limb bots have grown...

 

And therein lies the crux. Truth is noone is wrong because there is no definitive scale guide on this set. Ppl just need to buy what they like instead of trying to convince others that don't agree with them that they're 'wrong' .
