Thank goodness, I was honestly starting to regret my order for the planet-x version. I do love the way it looks but mmc is just who i prefer for my idw style transformers.

It looks like there is an problem with D-Zef.

 

Hopefully their Hellex will not meet the same fate.

 

So when is the release date and what is the problem?

 

One of the MMC guys posted somewhere that this has been put on the back burner. I forget if it was on FB or this forum.

This sounds “mean,” but I’d much rather see them bringing the last two members of the DJD, Getaway, and Chromedome/Rewind to us.

I've been waiting half a year for them to finally release their megatron reissue. Preordered months ago.

 

Best I can offer as a release date for D-Zef is "somewhere in 2020". I think he's behind the DJD bots on our list of priorities, but I really can't say anything for certain in this regard.

 

Honestly you might be better off saying nothing in case they get riled up again.

I know RVDA will know more, but I still find it hard to believe we'll see this sometime this year. 3 TFCons, 2 DJD bots, 1 Chromedome, as well as Ocular Max figures. I mean, they've already missed the dates for Drift, Onslaught etc which were supposed to be released last year and have been pushed to this year.

 

I have had my preorder for dzef since the day it became available and I'm honestly fed up with waiting, I get stuff happens but why put out a release date so early when you know you want to release other stuff first. I want the djd bots, but not at the expense of pushing dzef back, imo we want see dzef in 2020 and considering he had a April 2019 release date that is pretty dang sad.

 

I know those dates, they started as April 2019. I was asking if there was a update of when they expected to be released but I can't get a half decent answer so I'll take my money somewhere else.

 

You know why they had to put it up early. They had to respond to Planet X.

I still think it's unlikely MMC will have this by 2020. They have so much in the pipeline. I mean they've already missed the dates for Ocular Max Onslaught and the new Drift mould, and we are close to Chinese New Year.

 

I like the MMC so much better then the planet-x because it looks so much more like IDW deathsaurus to me but if they are never going to release there's I'm giving planet-x my money.

 

So are they planning to release d-zef this year?
