Watching paik's livestream on YouTube has got me waiting impatiently for gravestone to ship from show.z. He looks fantastic

 

There's a lot of 'chat'* over on the DX9 thread about Gravestone being too big for the rest of the Stunticons in bot mode... yet nobody has complained that Optimus is too big for the Autobot cars in bot mode!
Personally I think Gravestone should be bigger than them, he's a truck and they're cars (just like Oppy and the Carbots©), they shouldn't all be the same height.
Also personally, I don't want my Decepticon car bots as tall as seekers, to me that's in the realm of OS... but if people do want that then at least they have that choice available to them, so we can all be happy with our chosen Stunticons

I always saw stunticons as the decepticon carbots. So yeah, same size as the carbots makes perfect sense to me. Gravestone next to the other members of the team looks a picture  

 

Yeah the scale Xtb have gone with makes sense to me, though I can see the argument for larger limb bots based on some screenshots from the show.

The potential problem with the scale Xtb have gone with is if they ever make a Superion (please make it so Xtb, none of the other versions are doing it for me). Would they downscale the jets to match the Stunticons? Or scale them to the Seeker jets? For me Fanstoys went way to big with the size of the bot modes, but then if Air Raid is an F15, you'd think he'd be Seeker sized. How could Xtb hypothetically make Superion to scale with their Stunticons/ Menasor now that they've gone with carbot scale for them? I don't know, but these are the questions that keep me up at night.

 

That's the mass shifting malarkey right there! There's no way that a set of car bot size Stunticons (which is the size they were in the toon!) could become Menasor limb size without some 'magic'  

So maybe as limbs for Menasor the XTB ones are too small, hence the added 'shells', but as individual bots they're the perfect height for me  

 

I must apologise for my previous couple of posts, they were rational, well thought out, and respectful of other's opinions and choices!

Optimus Prime being too big for the car bots... the few dissenting voices are silenced by the Holy Scale Chart.

Luckily, Legends figures do not follow that.

Like, the car bots come in and cause trouble, then Motormaster comes in and kicks serious bottom amid the chaos... or something

I don't think you should have been modding your race car to begin with. The screws can strip and weaken the plastic. Xtransbots did you a solid by sending you an extra piece so you should be grateful for that not disappointed. Personally, I was disappointed when my 200$ FansToys figure had a paint chip on his chest right out of the box.......I didn't even touch him. Did I get a replacement part from FansToys? I did not. This is the gist of what I got .....你真是个坏孩子 你从头开始FanToy像猫。 你什么也得不到！

 

I honestly dont give a shit as it simply follows the logic given what their alt modes. Furthermore, I like MM being that much bigger because, afaik, MM is a total asshole bully who pretty much owns his team like slaves. He should seem completely overpowered compared to the others without them having any chance to, say, team up and fight back.

But again, if people like their team members bigger in relation, great, we have options. Also, guy was saying it's like a parent and kids or some whacked out nonsense when varying robot sizes exist and have always existed so wildly across all TFs and only NOW it's a big point of contention (a ridiculously messed up take if you consider IDW Chromedome and Eject).

The whole thing reeks of weak minded individuals who absolutely need to put down the competion in order to feel good about their choices. Kinda like xbox v ps v pc or something. Just as immature. But hey, people can have their whacky opinions all they want.

I personally find things I both like and dislike across all offerings, and I also get how some people get something in their head and just can't see past it, which is fine. Just kinda going on about which gets a little silly.

 

Look up posts by that user and ignore them going forward.

Nice try! Please don’t disparage my post. My situation was well documented on page 200 of the FANS TOYS FT-19 APACHE (MASTERPIECE SPRINGER). I am still traumatized by the situation and I have reached out to FansToys regarding the issue, but was denied the replacement part that would have ended my suffering. I think X-Transbots has an excellent customer service department (as well as KFC) and that was my original point. Be grateful, because not everyone is lucky enough to have a replacement part sent to them.....

Luckily I have been talking to BS and he is sending me a replacement torso which he was sent on an unrelated QC issue. So there is that.....

 

I don't really care how individual bots scale with each other, just doesn't matter to me. But this picture looks just right to me, the four limb bots should be about the same size since they are all cars, and Motormaster should tower over them since he is a tractor/trailer. They all look good I think.

Got to love how ibot strait up lied that the reveal image of him and the team wasn’t digitally tampered with, making us think he would scale better with them. Harder to do that now huh.

 

Motormaster could have been shorter since he was just the cab...don't know why they made him so tall.

 

I'm fine with the size but I agree that that stunt was malarkey. But we all knew better right from the get go, didn't we?

Well I’ll be... after seeing this comment and looking back at the reveal image, it’s easy to see that MM is the only bot not casting a shadow. Looks like he doesn’t even have his feet on the surface.
