I couldn't really tell from the video or what we've seen so far, but I'm guessing the Predacon symbol on his forehead won't be present on this KO?

 

Nope, no symbol.

 

i actually like that there is no pred symbol on his forehead. primal doesn't have any maximal symbol anywhere in his body.. or idk.

 

Translation from a friend goes:

"The figure was sent to him from Toysmage as a product review feedback for them for things they need to clean up QC wise. So the figure you saw in the video is not the final product as it still had small technical problems like sound chip didn't work properly even with an extra dinosaur head sent to him.

Overall it's a solid figure up to the Takara standard and better. Stronger plastic. Megatron shoulder and joints are way tighter and stronger. Faces are well done. The only disappointing thing with them are missing Predacons logo (copyright). There are still crease marks on the thigh panels but that's due to its original design not allowing plastic with certain thickness to be used for transformation thus causing crease marks. There are some remolded parts on the panels as the original design was too thin. The 2 piece back pack are missing tabbing things for them to tab together. Don't know why they removed it but it works fine. Articulation is fine just like the original.

Overall it's a better version than the original but slightly darer for a KO."

 

 

they should include a small predacon sticker (please, 1000 please) or an extra part with the predacon insignia

They can tampo the sticker upside down on his forehead to circumvent copyright laws

yup i know he's supposed to have that. what i mean is that PRimal doesn't have one. so i kinda like that this release doesnt have insignia too so that theyll be the same

 

Do we have any side by side comparisons with the official? Mainly for the paint

Who is conducting these reviews?! If there is one absolute must-have inclusion for a KO review it has to be to compare and contrast it to the original figure. That’s all I need to see to make my decision.

However this is looking almost good enough to replace one of my official Megatron’s. Guess I just need to keep waiting for an English review and that elusive comparison.

 

rewatched jobby and ben's review. notable difference is the color of the pattern. taktom got pinkish purple as for toysmage it got lighter contrasting color.

 

Any update on a release date ?

 

Just preordered this. No way I was paying $320 for the official.

 

They technically could do what black mamba did with their ironhide. Throw it in the box but never market it.
