Very impressive. Robot mode looks beautiful. Not sure how I feel their solution to the shield functions is pack in a second one, and I doubt many were demanding two different swords. Still it's nice to see the triple shotgun.

Something about the alt looks a bit off, I can't pin it down, if it's even there.

I look forward to seeing coverage on this beast. I want black magic, but it has to remember to be fun and, of course, being a good solid toy. I'm in no hurry to trade up, so they need to improve on everything Challenger did.

Tbh the maniacal lion is the only thing I see whenever I look at Knight Orion. I can't unsee it!

 

Nope, I see the cave of wonders from Aladdin. And a lot of dirty too. XD

I was expecting to buy this figure but if there's one thing that I don't like from ToyWorld, is their "premium" hand-paint with scratches, dirty, etc. It makes sense when you're a robot warrior, but the vehicle form must be clean and shinny. For example WeiJiang Black Apple Optimus has weathering on concrete parts of the robot mode and looks terribly awesome, but when you transforms it, all the dirty is hidden and you get a shinny and clean truck.

I can let this happens on BB Prime Freedom leader, but not twice. They are amazing figures, but I wish someday they give me an normal finish on paint.

 

A lot of parts of the robot mode are exposed in the alt-mode, so There is not other option other than make the alt-mode paint to look "dirty" as well.

 

Looks a bit more like Tony the Team Tiger to me, he looks pretty friendly.

 

His toes are floppy, so he can stand straight up just fine but if you raise his arms and weapons forward instead of sideways you'll need to bend his knees or otherwise put his weight on his heels. I'm trying to figure out how to stiffen the joint on his toes though. Floor wax doesn't work I'm going to try Elmer's glue next.

 

He stands pretty well, but some figures from the first batch have loose toe joints... The second batch has better joints and paint.

It's just the abs section not tucked in higher than they should be. Note the 2 hinges connecting the pecs to the abs.

I don't get the extra head they're showing. They do the same thing with their BB movie prime too. It's just the same thing but worse, from a way earlier version, so why show it? To show how much progress they've made? I don't care, just show the good one (that still has a cut in its face).
