    I have a question:

So let's assume this was a factory/design error, and there needed to be some addressing on Takara's part ....how does one know if a future purchase is from a "fixed" batch?

You wait for a reissue and wait for in hand experiences.

Oh, so it would be a formal announcement that its "reissued?"
.....and not just a new batch that makes it's way to retailers?

    Ok cool, thanks

I made the same choice this year in regards to my '86 movie display. I'm much happier using the likes of Titans Return and Siege figures to fill that gap in my collection because they're fun and reasonably priced.

I don’t hate joy. It’s just that you’re as predictable as an atomic clock with respect to Takara MPs.

So he can't enjoy what he likes/prefers?

How the hell does that affect you?

That's it ppl. Let's pack it up. You can't enjoy these things now as someone in the Internet prefers another line.

    Game over.

I don't understand why it's not ok to like a figure on a forum dedicated to THAT figure. Is this only supposed to be a forum to complain? It sucks that TT's qc has gotten so bad that people are having trouble right out of the box, but that shouldn't mean someone who likes it shouldn't be allowed to like it. He looks like a great figure. I haven't had a chance to open mine, but I'm really looking forward to it....but of course with fingers crossed that there are no issues.

It is only OK if "influencer" BSF likes it.

Happy to say my hound has no problems! No cracks or paint chips (except for the one I caused at the thigh, so be careful guys! I think I can repair it though) I wish people luck with their own Hounds! Although I might not be as useful as I could be, since I didn’t experience the issues, feel free to DM me for help fixing things, although I might take longer to respond, since life’s really taken a toll on me :/
    Happy Holidays!

Sigh, the tribalism in these forums is ridiculous. I agree, the QC issues suck and as I've said before, they're making me reconsider preordering 1st run TT figures (especially if my Hound has issues when I get him). But the need to immediately trash each other for liking/not liking a figure or gleefully trashing a previous option (3rd party or otherwise) is pretty toxic around here. The only reasons I come here anymore is because it's the best place to be informed about potential issues to watch for and because there are some awesome people to trade with. Pictures I can see on daimchoc's and Sixo's FB feeds.

Okay, I'm jumping off my soapbox now.

Ok so I mentioned earlier that a inner leg panel of mine was too tight to fold and was recommended a lubricant for it. I didn’t use it but appreciate the suggestion. However I did try to move it the next day by holding the two edges of the panel near the base of the hinge. And voila, that did the trick! It took a bit too much force for my comfort though. But I went very slowly.

Don't jump to conclusion. You didn’t read back far enough. See post 6534. A member speculated the breaks were due to AMZ JP's packaging and because TCP bubble wrapped everything his copies of MP-47 did not have QC issues.

Unfortunately many people are actually happy in their misery and said people typically enjoy the misery of others. Do not try to "make sense" of it. Schadenfreude is by and large completely idiotic, without merit and detrimental to society as a whole.

I'm THRILLED with observations from folks like franpincho that actually want to celebrate the toy's successes and not deride it. I'm as excited as can be. Thank you TT. Sure, I'll shill for your absolutely wonderful creative expression told through the art of legal IP. Can't wait for Mirage ;)

Hello TFW peeps, good to see people enjoying what looks like an incredible figure. Sorry to the folks that got lemons, I hope you guys get things sorted out with your respective retailers.
Anyone here order from AJP and live in SoCal and received their shipment?

Mine’s been sitting in some Los Angeles facility for the last 2 days with no movement.
It bypassed Cincinnati, which I initially thought would’ve sped up my delivery, but it has not. I got payment confirmed on the 24th but didn’t ship until Friday local time. It arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday local time and cleared customs same day.

When I get mine, I think I’ll do the same as some here and let the figure acclimate to room temp, might even turn the heater on. Indoors is a cool 60-65 degrees. But outdoors has been in the high 30’s to mid 40’s.
    Fingers crossed I don’t get a lemon!
