My general rule for movie bots is to have the Decepticons be significantly larger than the Autobots unless they are a car bot. Saves me the pain of complaining about alt mode sizes and how the team behind the movies didn't give a shit.

It is Black Magic, NOT Godly Magic :)

Inside Out Magic has its Limits.
ESPECIALLY When 1 Bot has 4 Modes.

I can see no other Way to hide the huge Face
inside Mixmaster, it must be the Cab.

Of course....they could have made a Partsformer, where the entire Cab can just be removed >> Dang, Back Pack Removable

But then, again, some Fans start to complain
"huuu nooooo, i do not want a Parts Former,
    i will not buy this"

You see the Problem? Most People want the
Limbs directly to combine with each other, without remove or attach Parts before that.

What about the cab becoming parts of the body and or legs? UT, TW, fanstoys, and a few others show that slapping a cab on the back and saying "eh better than nothing" isn't what black magic is. UT making a galvatron where the entire cab and truck are hidden, or TW and their optimus that's extremely clean. The problem is more in the designers than the design at this point. The cab isn't part of the robot's design? hide it. make it turn into other parts of the robot. This really just feels to me like they wanted to follow the rotf figure and couldn't stray too far from it so they didn't bother solving the cab issue. As to making sure the combined face is in it? you can easily make that a separate part. would some complain? sure. Would someone who's willing to spend $600+ on a movie devestator care that much about it having to be incorporated? unlikely.

It's a really cool Lego model but I don't know if that says this size would translate to your typical transformer figure. Can't help but notice that big structure there to keep it standing.

Guess the Bay movie's have more in common with G1 than we thought...

somebody could make a whole thread about how the constructicons in ROTF have varying scales and then argue about which one is right for 100 years

    Oh wait

That bot is packing some booty!!

I'm not really interested in Devastator. The Hasbro one would be enough for me.

I like the paint on these but as figures I only really like the ones that aren't based on the ROTF voyagers. I'll get two or three of them probably to keep in bot mode.

Actually that's it, i would suggest accurate size for each and everyone will be always arguing, there will never be one good size/scale for him for everyone

Do we have any photos of the full grey prototype yet? it seems they are putting out zoomed in photos to show off the individual bots but no full shots yet...

Man these are looking good though. Ive got the studio series Rampage at home, picked him up with intent of doing the full Devy but other things got in the way and i dont have the cash for that right now. I love Rampage as a standalone figure, but this version seems to include everything i wish was on the SS one (if the price point didnt prevent it) Like proper elbows, more torso and neck movement, and more flow-y tank treads.

I think it's really cool seeing non-traditional bot designs get MP figures, and the Bayverse Contructicons are about as non-traditional as they get! From what we've seen, that Devy looks heavy.

Their rampage has got lol folidamyde arms. They're to small, and the claws /hands are non existent. Out of the 3 modes boy mode is the weakest. The improved snake lower body is ok, but the arms suck, the tread whips look poor with the lots of pieces consetina. Again they just concentrated on combined mode. Ss at least considers all 3.

For the money they're asking, All 3 modes need to sell it. It again falls way short.

But I'll give it to them, so aspects look good. I like how the treads turn up in the centre of leg mode at the knee. Probably fake treads but a nice touch.

So near and yet so far.
