I was so happy when I got MP44 to finally have Spike, Sparkplug, Carly and Chip all in the same scale to hang out with my MP collection...however my joy proves short lived as even before I get my Hound in hand, I can see from pics that I will need a new Sparkplug, Carly and Chip in scale with this new mp47 Spike.

Well, we just need Takara to release Sparkplug with Trailbreaker, Chip with Hoist and Carly with Jazz! Right? #squadgoals2020 :D

Yeah, it’s like how 45’s instructions forgot that the bumper folds down on the toes in bot mode. Definitely designed this way - the promo shots show Hound transformed like this. :)

Absolutely, I know some have had some bad luck with these, but for my part this has to be the best year for MP figures so far. Factor in Dx9 La Hire and it's even more so. Great pic of the 2019 releases, can't wait to see more p8when you get round to it.

Lol yeah I realised the same earlier when I was comparing mine with other pictures and realised I'd done something wrong. Now it looks spot on.

Not sure if you're supposed to have the jerry can and gun at the same time... I couldn't do it either, and like the two of you, just removed the jerry can.

Unfortunately it’s anyone’s guess bud. Until we get more codes being shared it’s hard to know whether certain batches are more prone to defects. I’m simply going to count myself as lucky here.

I don’t plan on transforming mine again any time soon (next time will probably be for storage when/if I move house again), so unless he breaks during posing sessions it’ll be hard to say whether I could also have an underlying issue that simply hasn’t presented itself. I won’t let what ifs and maybes stop me from mucking around with him in robot mode (that’s my preferred mode anyway...)

I hope you get an excellent replacement so you can enjoy the figure.

Thanks, I found my number: I2619. So far (fingers crossed) I haven't had any breakages or stress marks when going through transformation.

Took a (longer than I should have) quick break from working and opened one of my copies. Inspection in vehicle mode doesn't seem to have any cracked hinges. All the accessories seem fine aside from one eye on the yelling face not getting enough paint (an easy enough fix I can do myself if nothing else is wrong with this copy).

Spike is awesome! I noticed in photos that he had elbows, but didn't realize he has arm swivels too! And he seems to hold together pretty well compared to his "mini-mes". I hope that TT puts out larger versions of the other humans with upcoming molds (or sells a multi-pack, though I doubt they'd do that). And if I want to add magnets to this one, he already has holes in his feet. ;)

For now, it's back to work. I'll transform this guy later tonight.

Has anyone been able to get the front fenders in a horizontal position in vehicle mode? No matter what I do always droops down on both sides.

You mean I’ve been...transforming him wrong?? I’m so ashamed! :lol  In all seriousness thanks for pointing that out! I originally went to see if that was an option but I couldn’t return the covers to their full position as in alt mode so I just gave up. Now to fix my shots!

At first, I was gonna say "Uh...of course they fit the contours of the Jeep better, Dear Leader (;) ) that's where they go in vehicle mode, duh!" But, sonuvabitch, you're right! Nearly every promo pic, (including the ones all over the box, and the instruction booklet itself) show the fenders either all the way down, or midway. Totally looks better this way, and most likely the intended position as well.

Wish here the hinge joibt had a deeper cut to allow his shoulder move lower. You can actually adjust the front fence

Here was my take on Willis. He’s still a good figure, regardless of not handling Hound until tomorrow’s delivery.

This is pretty cool, hound is one of the few characters where i prefer his toy over animation model so i may have to splash on this
