Minicars need Gears and Huffer. I think Huffer needs to be in ER because he needs to be able to pull Optimus’ trailer and he fits in with the towing/hauling gimmick we’re seeing a LOT of.

I was in the same camp but have just given up on that at this point.

 

It's not often I'm blown away by someone's knowledge of obscure TF trivia here we are.

 

There's barely ANY differences between Doubleclouder and Doubledealer, and only one shade of plastic difference between Buster/Hydra and Dreadwind/Darkwing. What possible reason would the company have to do a barely there repaint of z list characters, other than scoring some favor with the weebs? Seriously, get a paint pen.

 

Also hopefully we get Slammer too seeing as Fast Track is on the cards

 

Knock and scar would be easy repaints of ratbat and rumble, doubledealer could very well come with them or they could be their own micromaster 2 pack

 

Yeah not sure if they would be packaged with him but they have shown they are willing to mix gimmicks what with Apeface and Snapdragon being headmasters, so may retain the powermaster gimmick.

 

It's really clever because of how many homages you combined the only thing that I think goes against it is how Hastak don't like to reuse names of G1 characters which I feel is gonna prevent a new Cybertron Defense Red Alert.

Which I mean I'm all for a better version of G1 Sandstorm coming out thats more accurate to his toy, I guess your idea could be called something like Desertstorm.

 

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the wings become a picnic basket that stores knives and swords in DD's version.

Catz did say we'd be really happy with he leader. So maybe it'll be better than I envision(fully articulated G1 love letter, I expect it's Powermasters to be released in a 2 pack or molded on but maybe they'll actually be functional and included?).

 

I’m hoping to see the Autobot Powermasters, Monstructor, Sparkabots, Firecons, Sureshot, Pointblank, Quickmix, Landfill and the others who haven’t had new toys.

 

Sigh... And now the wait begins in earnest for Sunstreaker. If he doesn't come with a hand cannon I'm going to give him Hoist's from the Strengthen Equipment set.

I am so happy with the announcement of Doubledealer and Snapdragon! That has totally made my day.

Quintesson is cool too.

I can now cross them off my list and hope for: Sureshot (I've said it before, a new mould that can be used for Joyride and Ruckus), Slapdash, Venom, the Firecons, Backstreet and Squeezeplay

I've got to applaud Hasbro for working their way through characters that I never thought would get new toys. Fantastic work.

 

I can't wait to get Snapdragon and Scorponok. With those, the first wave of US headmasters will all have been updated, correct?

I really hope we get the three Deluxe Insecticons that haven't been updated, too.

 

It's going to be a Mirage repaint, you know it.

 

I wonder what the Quintesson will transform into...

 

I hope that Sunstreaker isn't a remold / repaint of Wheeljack. If not, then who will we get from him?
