I bought a Soundwave and the two packs at regular price. I have that one sealed because I love how he looks in G1 packaging but since I never had a G1 Soundwave growing up, I'd like to get another to open and mess with. If he drops to $20-30, I'll get another.

I've picked up the reissue stuff once they go on clearance, and put them up in storage, other than that I dont buy all the stuff they put out.

Is that the standard stickers on POTP Predaking? I still haven't put the stickers on mine. Even without them, I think he looks fantastic. Individual bots have their blockiness/drawbacks, but I really like the more 'clean'/'blocky' look of Hasbro's Predaking over the more 'ornate' 3P offerings. (And he's so much more stable and playable in hand than 3P Predakings I've handled).

Sweet! I had been thinking about a "1986" Chug display.... I might have to include Armada Unicron and Cyb. Primus... hadn't thought about them!

u have to keep em hidden in storage? Sounds like someone else I know...

no, its the reprolabels set, they look TONS better than the standard one. And yes, the hasbro one is miles ahead of the 3p ones because of build and quality. This is my fave combiner, toy wise.
And thanks, u should totally make a movie shelf!! With lots of sharkticons and sweeps!!

I don't have to keep them in storage but I don't have much room right now. Plus I've only got 1 tub of stuff and it's a mix of Loyal Subjects, Marvel, Transformers and batman stuff so really not much to display as it's not a big tote

I need to find where I have my chase white Sixwing and chase red Sixliner, then I also have a few other Spychangers to fill some gaps, but also still working on hunting down a couple other items that'll go in here, but I finally bought a pretty nice "Matchbox/Hot Wheels" display case that I've put my Go-Bots/Spychangers in, along with the chase reissue Micromaster combiners and 2 X-Dimension Micron/Minicon teams to fill half a row that I don't have anything else to go in.

    Go-bots/Spychanger/sChase Micromasters display case:

And just a link to the version with camera flash on, that mirrored back sure is something!

Looks like a fun NYE you've got planned! And almost looks like some of the clear multi-colored Spychangers, ha!

Often I'm not big on black repaints because it seems the "easy" way to make a "cool" repaint, but some I like. And that's a great display! Crossover Venom there?

Some black repaints I like are any Soundblaster, Universe Nemesis Prime(the mammoth with bloody tusks!), I never got it because I didn't like the mold but I like what they did with the black MP Rodimus Prime, and I'm searching for a black Superlink(Energon) Rodimus Convoy.

    Heh, thanks!

Got it on Amazon, it's a little spendy, but it's really nice. Holds 108. 4 mounting holes with hardware included, so can mount it in either orientation. The door closes with magnets however it isn't "sealed", so some dust could get in, if you're concerned about that issue:

Yah, the jello shots ARE perty! I wish they made white or clear jello then we could've had red white and blue!
You're right about the repaints for sure and I try to not want EVERY nemesis or soundblaster; thankfully they don't get a new toy with every toy line, because of space. But I wouldn't mind having the black mammoth... And yes, I would totally buy the black rodimus from energon!
Yeah, venom is my fave comic hero/villain of all time, the toy is aged and doesn't have a whole lot of articulation but that car mode is sweeet!
    And you're welcome!
