Catz has been intentionally been as vague as possible, probably to throw off anybody at Hasbro/Takara from determining their dentity. Like every other real-life military vehicle, the type Doubledealer turns into has a degree of armor civilian vehicles do not. But the wording of the leak, as well as the additional detail that the toy was blue, caused people to speculate about other characters like Soundwave. Which is exactly what catz wanted, I suspect.

 

I’m sorry... You think catz needs to come in here and ‘unconditionally’ apologise that the free hints he gave us about an upcoming toyline, off his own back, which may not even be in his first language, and could likely get him in serious trouble, were not accurate enough for you? Despite MANY of the people here guessing it could be Doubledealer?

Had catz given us more information there is a very real possibility he wouldn't be able to not only provide, but even obtain information altogether. I've seen how Hasbro works behind the scenes for leaks, it's not worth it. Some may think "oh it's just a list, just descriptions", Hasbro doesn't look at it that way at all. Just be patient, look out for coverage at licensing trade shows/expos and social media pages overseas. That's how you'll be able to piece more information together.

Especially if there is a show or con that's about to begin, that's when info tends to get leaked.

Don't be mad if catz doesn't respond and don't take it personally.

• One '86 movie character deluxe that was already done in Titans Return which to catz feels somewhat redundant as a result. Not Hot Rod/Rodimus, but is an autobot. (The new reveals don't answer this quite yet, as neither Trailbreaker nor Sunstreraker had TR figures, unless he meant CW/UW.) [ ]
• Another deluxe, an Autobot, NOT an '86 movie character, that was already done in a recent line (not Titans Return) this year (2019) which catz feels is somewhat redundant as a result. I’m pleasantly happy to hear this! Unfortunately on a web board where people throw tantrums based on the colour of a toy’s fists, the fact a toy may be a cm too big or too small, the wrong shade of white plastic may have been used or a figure may have too much ‘kibble’ it’s increasingly hard to realise who is genuine or not.

I try not to judge people by their intelligence or look down on others though, I feel we’re all fans of Transformers here & as long as you’re respectful we should focus on what brings us together.

I admit it, I doubted you before but these listings seem to validate everything you've said. So that in mind, is there anything else you want to tease? 

 

Only RID basebot I was able to find on TFWiki was Firetruck Optimus, and it was a kinda crappy "fan-mode" looking "base."

I think 1 of the seemingly redundant deluxes who is a new mold for a character already released this year, is actually a new earth mode Sideswipe with a spoiler. Reasoning being that I'd be surprised to get a new Sideswipe since the SIEGE one already looks close enough to an earth mode car to me. Maybe another is earth mode Prowl, Prowl got smoked in the 86 movie and had a figure in SIEGE too that could be yet another Datsun bro template.

 

Still all those deluxes to decipher!

And only one of those is an Autobot with very Autobot coloration so the hint must be for RID Fire Convoy / OP right?

 

Now, with the recent leaks from the Walmart computer revealing Doubledealer let’s talk leader class. Last chapter had 3 leader class figures with a 4th added on. We already know about g1 Optimus, with Doubledealer that makes 2. So it seams that there will only be 1, possibly 2 more leader class figures released for earthrise. If the RID Optimus rumor is too be believe then that might be all the leader class figures they make for earthrise. I would still expect a Megatron or Galvatron to make an appearance so that might make a 4th. I wouldn’t expect any other leader class figure unless they were repaint exclusives or retooled selects.
