Can Orthia hold Combiner Wars Shockwave in altmode, either as-is or with the help of some third party bits? I'm heading towards that final tipping point that makes me work on getting all the girls next year, and having watched The Search For Alpha Trion and bits of the Bruticus episodes recently, this thought just occurred to me.

 

Stock hands yes, PE hands kinda. PE could use a shapeways Piece to make it a tad more stable.

Cyclonus and Skywarp aren’t the same character though, even if you believe that skywarps body was used for cyclonus

 

Why? Beast machines thrust is not the same character as waspinator etc etc. Cyclonus has a vastly different personality than skywarp and unicron even said he would give megatron NEW troops to command, implying that either the other cons were already dead or that unicron would over write their identities during the reformatting

 

This was kind of my head canon for cyclonus and scourge/sweeps. I always saw them as reformatted/rebuilt with new sparks.

 

I always figured that Unicron deleted their memories, so their old personalities came but but slightly corrupted by Unicron.

 

Even if it’s the same sparks (it’s been said unicron can’t create life) it’s still a similar case to the vehicon generals, the old identity is over written and a new one put in place. Like recording over a vhs tape, it’s the same physical tape but a new video
