Nice! The bottom pic should put neck-gap-gate to rest, as it seems to sit quite flush on the hood to me. I hope I get my Amazon JP shipping notice soon!

my wife got me MP45 for Christmas. For the most post I am impressed. Articulation is excellent by modern standards, the Chibi VW Bug is delightful.

Not sure I'm transforming the back properly because it doesn't seem to lock in. The head/face are extremely true to the cartoon (which unfortunately means they look dated).

All in all in happy with this guy.

Dude I love your backdrop. Is it a specific location or just something you threw together?

Thanks. That's a few pieces from other backdrops cobbled together to preserve them. I'll try to find pics of some of the older backdrops.

I think the trick is to overcompensate the degree in which the hinge sits when it's flush in robot mode if that makes sense. Basically bend it a little bit more than what it needs so that it sits flush when everything gets put into place. The hinges are pretty solid as well, on my copy anyways.

The back doesn't really lock in as far as I know. Shame because the figure in generally is pretty good.

Guess who showed up today! I went from abject hatred of this design to mild curiosity, then thanks mostly to @Dean ML and his pics, I began to love this little guy! And while he is a bit fiddly, he is awesome! I love him! Spike.... Not so much.

Depends on Hound. Mine should be delivered on the 30th so not all votes are in. My current vote is on Prime V3 / MP-44. I have to admire Prime for coming with his own playset.

My vote would be with MP-44. They killed it with him! Bee is pretty good, and Hound seems like he's going to be great, but Prime takes the cake.

I gotta go with Blackarachnia slightly over Prime. Hound is still in the running though since he'll be in my hands any day now.

Seeing as MP-44 is the MP of all time, he is defacto winner for the year

I thought that I’d be unboxing MP-18+ by now but a post office snafu means I’ll have to wait awhile longer. Fooling around with Bluestreak to keep myself occupied. 3030EC68-77D2-4083-91B3-C3FB642B683A.jpeg 56852344-733D-447C-87F4-5B92D9E5FB55.jpeg
