Very very impressed. I think the black lines are sculpt and the white are tampoed. Regardless, this is a look transformers wears incredibly well.

 

I got a strong feeling this will end up similar to TFC's Abombinus .

 

Hasn't it been implied it's by the same designer?

 

And hopefully the sixth animal will provide a comparatively longer torso compared to the limbs I'm hoping. My hopes are generally high for this thing, I'm into it!

 

Oh... I have no idea. I thought it was just the thing for awhile.

 

^I get those same vibes too. The big difference will be the size though, the TFC bots will be in the 6.5-7" range where as the Cang Toys Predacons will be larger at around 9".

Anyone else considering these to go with the T beast releases from GT, DX9, and soon to be TFE? They fit the style pretty well despite the preds already being animals.

some of the decals/tampos look like they have writing on them...that's a bit of an odd choice. don't mind the stripes but if they have writing as well then I guess I will have to figure out how to remove it.

 

Love the tampos! He will blend perfectly with Double Evil!

 

Oh nice, I love it. I especially appreciate that the animal legs don’t just hang off the robot legs like the other Predacon interpretations, that makes the legs and combined mode very oddly proportioned.

I just need to see him next to some other figures but this is looking like a definite buy for me.

It is likely the same designers that did TFCs Poseidon and Satan. 3P toy design seems to have a bunch of freelancers.

 

I am digging all the chrome. I hadn't noticed it in the other pics of him. It's a cool looking figure.

Huh weird he looks a lot better here than in those other photos. Less overt contrast between the color shades which looks so much better. I hope the orange doesn't stand out as much in reality kinda ruins his whole look if it does hmm.
