If you don't have someone in the States who can pick them up, I'd suggest getting a hold of them through Comics and Cocktails for Spinister and Apeface... BBTS for Smokescreen, Bluestreak, and Spy Patrol... And you'd probably have to pay well over the odds for Singe and Ratchet at ID or Amazon US, currently.

But the point is buying/ordering them now, I guess, cos it's a total shitshow if you haven't previously done pre-orders and it only gets worse as the months drag on. You need to be on items in the first week otherwise, it's ridiculous now!

Spinister and Apeface are supposed to be coming to ID in January so that’s ticked off. I’ll get wave 4 targetmasters from them as well. Found a decently priced eBay listing for Smokey. Bluestreak also ID. Spy patrol with Battle Squad from Kapow. Ratchet will still elude me unless ID restock.

Seacon boxset? What? This interests me.
What? How much? Screw that, i could get the tfc ones for not much more. And those are bigger and not cw remoulds.

I mentioned this in the rant thread. It really kills the momentum and passion for collecting. Hopefully ss 07 bee, megs and shockwave will hang around as those are the three I'm after come the new year. If hasbro uk ever decide to ship them to us.

The big issue is Hasbro not maintaining both stock and distribution - I mean FFS what are they doing?

I haven't worked since September and can't get any benefits. We've been living on just Mrs Ottertron's income and a bank loan, so very little spare money unless I sell anything.

I finally saw the Star War today though. It needed a rewrite to tighten some bits up and remove some pointless stuff - Knights Of Ren, the maguffin and Poe's beard mainly - but otherwise it was pretty good.

Dayum, this guy is impressive. I have the Generation Toy Gravity Builder team for a long time here, but just enjoyed them as individuals. Yesterday my gf demanded I combined them..... Super solid as a combined form, and the details really pop in this mode. GenToy are rapidly becoming a favourite 3P of mine.

Today gets to be the day we take our foot off the gas and just veg the fuck out. It's always non-stop, the Christmas. Fun but relentless. Cooked the dinner on the day, yesterday our daughter turned TWELVE (that's fucking terrifying) and we had the world and its mother round so yeah.. time to chill.

Definitely combining the DJD today (they've swerved the lens far too much since I got Helex) and managed to score the IF Retrograde Bros for 14 quid due to store points so might rack in a Siege Astrotrain from Kapow too.

Not long left of a funny old year.

I had a bottle and found it nicer tasting than the Irn Bru we have now but still not as good as the old proper Irn Bru

I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy!

every boyfriend she ever introduces me to, I feel sorry for them.

she has a heart of gold, just a lot of hard work!

Irn bru makes me ill, so a little taste always tastes amazing. I love the taste, just not the after effects!

Belated Merry Christmas to all threadizens. All the family around on the day (11 of us in total), and then the same again on Boxing Day, but at my mother in law's. Relaxing day today. No bots for pressies, but then I do buy them for myself (it's easier). Did get a couple of tumblers/glasses with the bot/con symbols on which are very nice.

Cautionary tale though, bought Siege Ratchet from Amazon.com, he arrived this morning in the customary jiffy bag, box was squashed to buggery as I've come to expect from anything sent from Amazon US. Usually though this hasn't impacted the figure inside, sods law has taken hold in this case (typical since he's so bloody hard to obtain) and the left ankle has partially snapped/cracked. I can't be arsed with the hassle of trying for a return, so I got the my sheet styrene and epoxy resin out and have done a repair. Hopefully it'll hold, but got to wait for 24 hours for the resin to fully cure to find out.

I suppose it's a case of physician heal thy self :)

Aside from that, whilst I don't yet have Ironhide, Ratchet is a great figure (yeah my reviews are short and to the point ;)  ). Much better than the Universe figure, which I've now got to decide whether to sell or keep.

Does anyone have any experience with mail order from the UK Lego Store?

Put in quite a hefty order in the second week of December and it looks like none of the pieces have even been mailed out yet :(  I also checked reviews of the service online, and the results were frighteningly bad. I know its the xmas period and slow postage and high volume of orders are to be expected, but if orders were not placed via an account/VIP, should I expect to be waiting much longer?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

    All the best
    Maz
