I don't even dislike the guy, but for some unknown reason his opinion carries a lot more weight than other people. And I'm sorry, I just don't take people seriously who do things half-assed and half-prepared, thats a "real-world" thing for me.

Wouldn't be out of the ordinary to post info about the existence of a KO and how to tell it apart in an official thread. It's just a service for people wanting to avoid KOs. Or post it in the KO thread? Or don't bother - up to you what you do with your info, bro. Was just a suggestion. If there's a KO we'll hear about it here sooner or later anyway.

No, it’s not a “He tell me” story. That situation with Ghost of Optimus Prime was very different from how @oku is handling this.

Finally got the MP-45 Bumblebee done. Getting the LED wiring from his feet to his torso was extremely tricky. Got 2x SMD eyes, 1x SMD blast effect and 2x 5mm headlights. Chest was painted blue from the inside-- looks so much better in my opinion. Also added a pair of Hobby Base 1/144 Rounded Hands PPC-T95 (Grey). Added a pin to the gun so it will stay locked onto the hands. I'm pretty happy with how this guy turned out; stay tuned for more fun stuff. God bless you everyone!

Update: Operation complete! No-hat Spike now has magnetic feet!

Installation went pretty well, though I did smoosh his boots a bit from having them in my tiny vice grip (actually a photo clamp). The magnets are pretty flush with the boot soles, though they do protrude very slightly (by a small fraction of a millimeter).

It took a very steady hand with a rotary tool and a 1/32” drill bit to drill holes large enough and deep enough for the 1/16” magnets. The lower legs are made from clear plastic, which made me a bit nervous and also made it difficult to distinguish the hole’s diameter from paintless plastic around the edge. If I were to do it again, I’d get magnifying glasses to help me see better at this scale.



Once I had the hole drilled out to the right diameter and depth, I inserted the magnet and tapped it into place with a hammer and an allen wrench. I ended up chipping the plating on the magnets a little, but there’s nothing I can do about that now — they’re lodged tightly into the boots!
