Well I ordered Spinister with Xmas loot. I’m still trying kick around buying First Strike set or Galactic man Shockwave, or seeing what else goes down in price.

 

Galactic Man Shockwave is $36 I think at Amazon US (I was skimming the page as usual), First Strike is $38 from memory? This might not be news lol

 

I love that the attatchments you put on him, make him even more colorful!

 

Looking at that I realised I need another Rung and Singe as I've got the full bot line-up and a duplicate of them in alt mode bar those two. Damn those effects pieces!

 

Seven and seven, but the Decepticons have a major advantage with their Battlemasters.

 

Exhaust pipe replacement panels for Siege Optimus Prime:

The description says the pipes are made of metal. You have to unscrew the shoulder pads to swap out the panels.

Looks a lot better than the Toyhax add-on.

There's an older prototype pic on SL's Weibo page that shows the top half of the pipes being metal color but the base in a different color.

Haven't bought a SL kit in a while, so I'll try this one.

Sadly no pics but I gotta say Siege Astrotrain is my favorite CHUG triplechanger. I got him at the start of December and hadn’t bothered to praise him!

Transformation is not too simple but not too hard (like Siege Springer). All three modes look great (yeah, shuttle mode has the funky backend). Great articulation too. The figure feels hefty and premium. It’s funny to think there was any doubt about this guy.

I cannot wait to get more ‘redo’ triplechangers.

 

Yes, it’s making it a tough choice.

 

Go with the exclusive before it sells out again, Shockwave isn't exactly setting the world alight and could be bought elsewhere. IMO!

Ended up getting most of this line, as it turned out. Glad I mail-ordered Ratbat/Rumble as I have yet to see them in a store. No sign of Astrotrain in my neck of the woods yet.

Now to figure out if I can parlay my Christmas money into Jetfire or Omega...

Trains were his first “thing”, he liked Astrotrain before he really got into Transformers after the Bumblebee movie came out last year. I want to get him Rail Racer at least, and Raiden for sure if he comes out in a Generations line.

I actually got him Jetfire for Christmas initially, but he kept going on about Astrotrain. So Merry Christmas to me, lol!

 

Weird thing is that my area Targets are loaded up with Singe and Rung.

I love the lightpiping on Soundblaster, but RIP to any cassette that's shoved down into his chest. So difficult to get them out...I broke Laserbeak's leg trying to pull him out of there.

 

I got Sky/Jetfire/huge awesome kickass Transformer toy for Christmas.









I have Thrilling Thirty Jetfire and Classics 2006 Jetfire too, and I love both of them, but this one? Holy hell he's a full grade above them.
