Thanks to some Christmas money I'm thinking of buying MP36, anyone know of a place in the UK where I can get one, other than eBay? All the UK based sites I've checked are out of stock.

    Merry Christmas, UK thread!!

I very much hope everyone has a lovely day, memorable for all the right reasons, filled with good company, food and wonderful gifts!

In Iceland - like many countries in Scandinavia - Christmas is celebrated on the 24th in terms of big dinner and presents, but we’ve started keeping some gifts aside to open just the three of us on Christmas morning of the 25th, with cocoa, in PJs, with mince pies

As usual here it’s a white Christmas, lots of snow we went for a totter around in. For gifts, I got the TF Risk board game, Lego Kylo Ren’s shuttle and an amazing original decommissioned door button from a London Underground train. Absolutely stonking gift!!

A lovely evening to you all from the near-Arctic!

    All the best
    Maz

Good Christmas Day evening you cheeky lil monkeys! :p

I hope all your day was merry and bright - we had Christmas at home just the four of us which was cool. Started with a big mug of tea progressing to the children waking and the realization Santa had been! Much screaming ensued! :D

Pressies then breakfast(s) with some Chrimbo telly along the way - later The Queen's speach and Christmas lunch, much like a Sunday roast but with crackers and Prosecco!
More pressies for all and helped my lad with his new Lego builds - Lego Movie 2 Ultrakatty & Warrior Wildstyle and part build of Hidden Side El Fuego's Stunt Truck!

My pressies? Socks & Pants, hoodie, Guardians of the Galaxy Blue-ray boxset and... shockingly, a flippin' Transformer from the missus! For years she would never but this year, for whatever reason, she bought me one - Siege Cog which was a huge surprise!

Kids and missus gone to bed now so I'm checking my socials whilst Jurassic World is playing in the background - forgot Starlord was in it! :)

Gonna pop open Crosshairs and fix myself a JD with ice - might give Once Upon a Time in Hollywood a go if I can stay awake! :drunk

I've just spent a few minutes transforming and playing with Newage Jazz in robot mode and he's flippin' fantastic.

Historically I'm not the biggest fan of the character but this version of him is soooo well done, the transformation is super clean considering the scale and whilst I didn't follow the instructions or a video review I was impressed by how well everything moved into place particularly all the stuff that folds up into the legs as there's so little space to work with the tolerances and clearances had to be bang on.

Once I got him into robot mode the quality became even more apparent because there's no compromises with any of the articulation and there's even butterfly joints at the shoulders. In addition they even thought about where the speakers will plug in and put the port on the top of the shoulder joints which is a nice little touch.

Scale wise him and Bluestreak are a bit small to be displayed on the same shelf as my Magic Square Autobots and Toyworld Wheeljack but they're presently looking just fine on my PC tower so they'll stay there for now.

Hah, yeah, I did finally get an Armada Unicron this year, scant weeks after the crowdfunder for the new one was announced. I’m not going to throw £600 on a toy when I’ve got nowhere to put it. Hell, I don’t really have anywhere to put this one.

You have to remember what a huge deal this was back in 2003. For collectors, Armada had not been particularly rewarding, with it’s chunky, unposeable toys taking the series back to a new generation of kids. And then up pops an actual, real-life, in-the-flesh Unicron for the first time ever, and it was suitably huge, and it was highly articulated. Of course, I was as much a mug back then as I am now, and passed on it.

Sixteen years later (ugh) and I finally own one, mostly out of spite over the new version’s announcement, and it’s a tremendously satisfying thing. I definitely prefer the Armada redesign over the boring movie-accurate redeco he would later get. You’re eating planets, you have to look your sharpest.

Hoorah, my course in ‘how to appear sophisticated- a blaggers guide’ paid off! Lovely to see this guy on your list!

...and this isn’t (edit - is!) the closest anybody’s come to selling me on an mp bot in a long while! Hope the excess of Christmas energy in the kids mellowed on the day :)

    SWOON

One of my figures of the year, for sure!

Lovely to catch up on all the Christmas posts, and much love to those out there who’ve had a tough one. I’m off to watch some barrel racing today and probably to start a diet!
    Peace, love and robots

Merry chrimbus all! As ever, no robots for me (I always buy what I want tf wise) but I did ask for this... Never played a game of overwatch in my life but couldn't resist a Lego hamster piloting a mech that transforms into a ball. Fantastic set.

This is possibly the sexiest thing I've seen in ages.

And really good value too! Considering the other one released at the same time costs £45 and is only a fraction bigger, ol' Hammond there is a real steal.

Nice, no issues with my MPM Megs, and i cant wait for my Jazz to arrive tomorrow

EDIT: probably a mistake but i just ordered a Siege Ratbat/Frumble from Ebay/China for £13.50. To be fair though the lat couple of 'legit' TFs ive ordered from China have been fine
