Hound is looking mighty fine and looking like an excellent return to form by TT after their last three middling to MEH G1 Sunbow bots. Let the good times roll and Merry Christmas to everyone!

My first response to seeing that was "wow that sucks, and what an odd design choice", but then I thought about it and realized, legs don't normally go backwards in any pose, its mostly the knee that is bending.

I dont see this lack of backwards leg bending taking away from any dynamic posing.

Fair play man. It's nice to see a well reasoned response.

We'll agree to disagree on aesthetics and tastes but I will counter your dislike of the slavish cartoon aesthetic with the + monikor. I fully expect you'll get your toy based Hound in time, they're just going for where the money is first. As a business you can't blame them.

not sure about that. Legs not being able to go backwards would be a real limitation. Let’s hope that’s not really the case.

Merry Christmas guys! I really hope we all receive flawless Hounds!

Also, I guess if you tried moving your leg backwards from the waist, it’d look unnatural. Same with the figure.

I can't think of any figure, of any kind, that I've ever posed the legs bending backwards at the hips more than 5° or so. Because it's completely unnatural looking, and doesn't make sense.

How far does mp45's legs go back? It might be because of the hip skirt himmick.

I have. But the debate is not whether it is unnatural looking or not (that is subjective). The point is, if other figures let you do it, some to even the full Monty, then this figure’s not letting you do so at all sticks out. Especially from a company who focuses a lot on articulation now.

It'll crush the hopes and dreams of those that like to display using that aggressive ab crunch style lol

    Crotch.....THRUST!!

In the normal world as long as he has high forward movement, which it looks like he does, then I'm all good.

AJP: Merry Christmas, Hound is in stock but there's a problem with your card.

Bank: Even though you approved charges from this company MONTHS ago, we're still going to decline payments, freeze your card and send you a fraud alert.

Me: Clicks "Yes, I approve payments to this company", and clicks payment on AJP. Will be calling the bank tomorrow to chew them out......again.

    Merry Christmas, indeed.

paiks video is good...hound looks great. the new hip skirt style is a good idea but no backward leg movement at all just is a weird design choice. especially how articulation is so prized with these new mp figures.

I thought the neck would be an issue but looks to work OK dispite looking weird.
