D10865A0-2389-4ABC-8A2B-4B398F499823.jpeg So I just transformed mine and I have to say. I’m no engineer but it appears as if the flap that impedes the waste swivel, instead of being hinged to the waist could have been hinged above the waist and then had a folding first Ute that would have eliminated the waste swivel. The blue line is the waist. The yellow On the left is where it is connected below the waistline. The arrow to the yellow on the right is where they could have had it hinged and then just made the piece fold out of the way.

not sure if anyone else mentioned this as I haven’t read the last few pages.

I don't even think the flap needs an extra fold. If the hinge had been moved to where you indicated then the flap would be connected to his back instead of his ass, and it'd swivel with his body instead of blocking him from turning to that side.

    No Goose for Thanksgiving.
    No Goose for Christmas.

I'm in the same boat. No worries. It'll get here.

Same here but not concerned. I’ve had tracking look like that and change to at my local post office.

In all honesty I will take waist obstruction 10/10 times if it means the transform is as smooth as goose.

I value the ease of transform and how intuitive the figure is to transform way above it having a zoolander complex.

Its a silly design but I still enjoy the figure a lot more than some of their other recent releases just due to how fun he is to flip between modes.

I would take something goofy like this every time over an overcomplicated transformation.

enjoy your geese this morning guys, merry christmas!

Having the first 10-15 degree of waist swivel in each direction is such a fundamental and useful element of articulation that a good transformation should never inhibit something so basic. Do better engineering. You can have both.

I still suspect that the waist articulation is purposely blocked to the left due to skydive being the right leg, in order to increasing his stability in leg mode. I further expect slingshot to be similarly impeded but to the right. I don’t mind personally, and find the restrictions in the elbow articulation much more troublesome. At the end of the day though it’s all nitpicky the figure is quite good despite his shortcomings!

PS: love the transformation and jet mode!

I got Maverick for Christmas, yay! Can anyone tell me what the extra face is for? Is it meant to represent the G1 toy face or something?

Opened Goose today... the waist restriction is stupid and up there with MP Hound's legs not moving backwards for basic articulation fails.

Otherwise, transformation is surprisingly easy and good, paint is great, looks great in alt mode, great in bot mode from the front, less so from the side with mega backpack.

Good release I think. We'll made, reasonable price, I look forward to the next one!

I'm sorry, as I am sure it's been covered before, but what stands are these?

Interesting theory but until FT confirms, or the other leg comes out with a similarly silly restriction, it's at best a theory.

I love this figure. I don't even care about combined mode, and if it requires pants or some part that doesn't do anything in other modes, I will probably check out combined mode and then just keep them individually as a non combiner team if need be.

Just opened Skydive today, and this thing it tits! If I was rich I would buy two to keep one for messing around with and one for combined mode.
