Must be Xmas Eve, I'm watching Scrooged.

Might be my favourite Xmas movie.

Merry Christmas all. Don't think I'll get a single Transformer tomorrow but I've bought myself an awful lot in the last 12 months so I can't complain.

    Hey all,

Sorry I haven't been active late, real life stuff to deal with. All is good though.

Anyway, take care all and a Merry Christmas to you all when it comes.

Hoping to be on a wee bit more shortly.

    Cheers

    Douglas

My top...5 or 7 or 10 in pics!!

Top 3...no contest. Two transforming toys, one of which is not a transformer. Also wildly inconsistent in prices; the cheapest is nearly 9 times cheaper than the most expensive one!
    top3.jpg

Continuing on, next top two [or should I say next 4]...one's iterations are a staple of my collection, the other was a very lovely hasbro collector's edition which shows how creative and fun these things can be while still appealing to collectors.
    top2.jpg

Lastly...for padding? These two lads. Admittedly one did not even come out this year. Keeping Motormaster atm since he ain't easy to sell, Fraudo WOW'ed me earlier this month and continues to be a pleasure to transform back and forth.

Well, I am going to have to make this quite succinct cos’ kids are getting a bit lairy (too much excitement before Xmas) but here is my figure of the year for 2019

No 1 - Transform Elements TE-01 OP Leader

    882B6C9A-071D-4C8B-9F5C-D9995B319376.jpeg

Did I ever mention I was a big fan of Optimus Prime? The third prime in my top three and the forth in my top ten should give that impression, and you’d be right in thinking he is my boi. Over the course of the year, this has got to be the figure I have gone back to the most to fiddle with, pose and transform - and I feel that this is a measure of how good this figure is - he strikes just right balance between being aesthetically pleasing to look at as well as having that ‘pick up and play with’ factor that siege OP was also so successful in capturing.

The transformation is more involved than anything else I have in my top 10 (particularly his torso) but crucially, it’s clever and rewarding (providing you are methodical with it) and the way the legs form out of the trailer section is quite spectacular (dare I say, an @Maz masterpiece moment?)

In the year when MP-44 came out, I still feel this is the cleaner OP (moins huge backpack). Of course your mileage may vary with these things but I am just glad we have been given such a choice of primes, catering for all budgets (and varying degrees of toon accuracy). As a fandom, we have never had it so good!

This is not as poseable as the official figure, but he is likely to be all the MP prime I will ever need, and for a fraction of the MP price. Made even better with the addition of the v2 “movie accurate” head that came later, if you want a toon looking MP prime but can’t stretch to MP prices, I wholeheartedly recommend this figure.

    86492612-3C73-431C-A646-DA323069E950.jpeg

So, that’s my top 10 for 2019. Not quite the climax I was hoping for (kids are still kicking off), but that’s all I have time for.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS MOVIEHOUSE!

So, between having a bastard of a cold, work, and getting addicted to Stardew Valley, I just remembered this place was a thing I try to keep up with daily. Whoops.

Oh, and an invoice for the G1/BB Movie Prime twin pack. Forgot... forgot I had that on pre-order. It's been a rough two weeks or so... :lol
