    I got mine through TaoBao.
Maketoys have never been great at distribution or communication. They tend to announce stuff far in advance, rarely provide updates, and then one day a retailer will announce they have an early copy or its coming soon. Their stuff doesn’t sell out in pre-order like FansToys stuff, but they do tend to sell reasonably well. Their Seekers have mostly dried up at retail. But Coneheads will always sell in smaller numbers than mainline Seekers. Hopefully Maketoys know this and they don’t over-produce and cause themselves more financial
    strife.
I get the feeling that Maketoys may be winding down operations (they closed their retail site, deferred QC claims to retailers and have all but abandoned any communication with collectors.) They may not have felt the need to invest time and money in fast distribution to retailers?

They will be slow as crap but I think they need the money out of the tools they already have to work with so I think the others will come out and I still believe the last two Headmasters will as well with how much has been invested. After that I am done with them no matter what they decide to do. I see them in a year as another FP.

I mean, if they put out something I want (like, say, they get around to finishing their Headmasters) I'm not going to say no. But I'm not putting any money down on any MT stuff that isn't listed as "In Stock."

I don't do Head/Target masters so haven't followed them much but have MT shown prototypes of any of them or just renders? The last news I remember seeing on them was from 2017 I think?
I mean, it doesn't bother me either way but I'm surprised anyone still thinks they're still doing those. Here I am, on pins and needles, unsure they'll even finish the Coneheads let alone anything else.

Prototypes, but not super far along, and it's been a long time since we've had any updates.

Ah. Hadn't seen the prototypes. That's a little more promising for those who want it, but really only means they completed designs and 3D printed samples. Doesn't mean any moulds have been made or much in the way of monetary investment. 2 years since 3D printed proto's combined with MT's recent trends doesn't bode well. Hope those who want them get them.

Got mine yesterday. Mine seems solid, transformed it to jet mode, applied decals but didnt have time to really inspect it in bot mode, but all transformation tolerances are spot on.

On the downside, I also received FT Goose yesterday, and maybe its the g1 toy experience in me, but it's bugging me that the Aerialbot feels and looks better quality than the seeker. Both amazing, MT seekers are more than good enough, head and shoulders above TT's.

Here is my review of endgame... improved qc from the seekers but still some issues. Overall the best MP dirge available.

Mine arrived the other day and, apart from the head popping off a little too easily, it seems solid. I’d put it up there with the original Meteor rather than the later reuses of the mould.

I really hope they release the remaining cone heads.

They did say it was expected soon, though. Like within a week.

Is there any way to make the wings look exactly like the cartoon? Flat area for insignia and top/bottom wings connected and in proper orientation?

It’s a bummer that the only version of Thrust w/ the wings on the legs is the TT one.
