Could it be in your stack and that’s the reason for no notifications? That’s what happened to me.

I haven't gotten a shipping email either, but it's shipped according to their site. I've been tracking it, it's getting delivered on the 27th.

Anyone got the Constructor Perfect Edition in yet? I am dying to see comparison pics of this new version to the Metallic, and original versions to see which has the most accurate colors.

I ordered this set and now I'm starting to have my doubts..... is this still the definitive Devastator for MP collectors?

It's pretty much the only option currently...unless you consider the Combiner Wars set an adequate stand-in. But if you think that, then this set IS the definitive Dev.

Honestly, it wouldn't be tough to top if another group ever attempted it. The question is if and when? The answer is likely no time soon... That said, it's still a solid set if the QC is up to snuff.

I was going to say the same thing in terms of there being no suitable alternative...yet.

From views on here, and looking online, it seems the v2 is the definitive toy version, and the just released Perfect version is the definitive toon coloured version, save the missing green thighs (i.e. they did a v1 on the legs, rather than the v2 approach).

For me, because of this issue (I don't think getting hold of green thighs will be easy), and my toon centric collection, I'm going to wait. I'll get a reduced PE and hope to sort the thighs out somehow, or pick up the competitor versions that exist at the time...

Fans Toys will do him eventually. If Raiden is genuinely going to be 20 inches and MP line suitable, then, if it sells well, TT will do Devy too in all likelihood. Who knows, XTB might have a crack eventually too (though I'd rather they go to the other combiners first).

Basically, if you want a Devastator anytime before probably 2023/4 (or later), then yeah, this is the one.

I might be crazy but I think I’ll wait for the FT version. They seem to have a plan to do them all so it’d be nice to have the cohesion of the same company making each combiner for scale and aesthetics.

This devastator does look fantastic though and is super tempting to get because I have DX9 Gabriel coming.

As a long-time collector, a “definitive” version of a figure has about a 5 year window to be the best for me to consider it successful. These exact colors are what I’ve always wanted for an MP-styled Devy and the only thing that prevented me from owning the first version was QC issues. With those fixed for the most part, I’m ready to have this beauty displayed for a good while.

Because even if another one that’s “better” looking gets announced today, it probably won’t get completed and into our collections for a minimum of 2-3 years so I’m cool with enjoying Constructor for much time. Last Devy I had was Hercules with all the upgrades and I was never excited for him like I am for this guy so I’m not worried.

I owned the Combiner Wars set for a time and sold it. I think TT nailed the cartoon look of a few figures, but it wasn't what I wanted. Plus, Long Haul was HUGE!

TT making a Devastator would be a dream for me personally! Looking at the companies you quoted, I think XTB's quality is okay(my point of reference is their Menasor set); Fanstoys makes AMAZING figures but I would hope their MP Devastator scaled with other MPs (See their Stunticons being twice the size of TT car bots). The only hesitation with Takara is I spent 100+ on a Bumble Bee that sucks! I'd hate to see how much a six-figure combiner would cost.

Any word on MMC? Their Bruticus is amazing!

    Congrats on the Gabriel!

Thanks for the perspective! To be honest, I anticipated a Takara Devastator happening at some point within the past few years but that never came to fruition! I bought other Combiners (XTB's Menasor and MMC's Bruticus) because I felt that if TT were to ever make a combiner, Devastator would be first! My TT Devastator dreams more than likely hampered my objectivity towards 3rd party Devastators. However, I will say, this version caught my eye and now I feel better about my purchase after reading everyone's comments!

    Thanks everyone!

Hope someone posts comparison pics soon of this Perfect Edition with the previous versions! I am figuratively, dying to see how they look side by side!

I will do combined mode later tonight. Last time I did robot mode my hands were sore for a week due to all of the tight joints.

Only toon head included I assume? I think the Superitron release has both heads. But I guess that's Zeta.

Also, no lat filters, or am I just not seeing them?

Super lazy of me: lat, back fillers and alternate head included :)

He had to go back into the box as I don’t have room to display him yet.
