Glorious Bayformer mess at its finest. If I happen to like Scavanger as much I may just grab it and don't care that they're not OS KO/3A scale.

Everyone here is calling you a third party elitist. I’m just gonna be blunt and say it: You sound like an asshole.

Congrats on being able to throw away roughly over a thousand dollars for just eight figures? Did you want a cookie or something?

anyway, have they tried to give them accurate proportions i would have paid whatever they cost, because everything else is what is exactly what i wanted, but, transformers are not only a single mode, and a combiner is not only a combined and vehicle mode either, its a COMBINER, so each component has to be good as well, not perfect, and they got robot modes...and they look BAD, they didnt even try, for that matter they should have gone straight from vehicle to combined mode and people would have accepted it

so i'll expand my initial claim by saying i rarely if ever make a claim that something is objectively better and i apologize if it came off as that, so for me i find this figure to be better due to it's increased articulation and detailed weathering however i can understand someone preferring/ finding ss devy to be better as it takes up much less shelf space and is 600-800 dollars cheaper

on a unrelated note, the latest video is really solid and gives a much better overview of the figure compared to the last 2

also i really want devil savior to do 77 bee, they would nail the paint job

as i said, price is something i would be willing to accept if they made accurate robot mode proportions, ss devastator isnt perfect by any mean, but they didnt ruin the robot modes so badly either

This line of thought just reinforces that the only reason to buy the 3P products is because one has a lot of money and people who collect mainline figures are ‘settling for less’ because they’re broke which I don’t think is accurate.

However, you’re bang on with the no kids, gf or social life comment. That’s the key to efficient saving.

mix master and scrapper do a decent job of movie accuracy in my opinion but i agree that scavenger looks really wonky with small wheels and long haul is really bad in both modes

Similar to some of the posters in this thread, I'd say.

for mixmaster to be accurate his arms should be longer and his legs shorter, and thats without making the shield smaller and that gigantic kibble it has on its butt, maybe it if only his legs were shorter , so at teals his arms when positioned CORRECTLY wouldnt look too short themselves,

Not true, I have a wife and 7 kids and most of my MP scale stuff is 3P.

Also the whole 3P is more expensive isn't always true. MP-45 is $450. I paid $120 shipped for for TE-01 which is a far superior figure IMHO.

So for me it just comes down to what looks awesome on a shelf, 3P or not.

Recently got Siege Jetfire, Hasbro did a great job. There are good and bad items on all fronts.

Looking at the Mixmaster transformation video, I'm definitely sticking with the Hasbro Constructicons. Aside from being cheaper, they're easier to transform and are, IMO, more accurate than the Devil Savior version(s).

I'd agree. And the SS versions have the benefit of being completely new molds, while a lot of the DS ones looks to be heavily based on the original RotF toys which are pretty innaccurate.

I mean, if we're going to make ridiculous insulting statements about others because of their personal preferences, we could say that Hasbro collectors are poor losers.

But that's ridiculous. People like different things and have different amounts of money or priorities on how they want to spend it.

Yeah, he definetly made a mistake there, and it was the exact video i was thinking of when i posted that.
However, I think the bashing got a little out of hand.

For the price we'd be paying for these I definetly think they should be better, and so far I think Scavenger is the worst one for the reasons you mentioned.

If they're going to base them on Hasbro figures, why not wait and improve upon the SS Constructicons instead?
