This probably is a late posting, but on Black Friday there was ONE in the Reynoldsburg Walmart. I took him. So at least one made it to Columbus
Sorry that was a little G1 joke. To her memory no they didn't, according to her they didn't even have much siege stuff either.
Saw a case of Siege Leaders ready to be put out tonight at Englewood Walmart. Got super excited and opened it to find.... Shockwave and Ultra Magnus. WTF Walmart. Wave 1?!
E. Main Walmart has 35th toys, quite a few of Soundblaster and one or two Bluestreaks if anyones still looking. Doesnt look like they sell SS Voyagers here, couldn't find any or a space for them.
I have this feeling that Walmart gets new stock in, puts it with old stock, and some stores get old stock.
WM is probably pulling out whatever is in the stockroom; my WM had SS Megatron, Mixmaster, and Bonecrusher (released months ago) on the shelf.
I was able to get the new SS Megatron at North Canton Walmart this week. He's a really cool version of one I never picked up years ago. On a side note I noticed a pickup truck with an Autobot insignia outside when I was headed home from work parked in our lot. I'm guessing it was a late evening shopper or someone taking one of our stained glass classes in Studio Arts.
I picked up Omega Supreme at Target. It rang up regular price but since they had a huge sign for the 20% off, the cashier looked at the online price and it was 20% off so I paid $128 +tax!
I noticed a similar thing at two Targets in Cbus. It's like they are only getting old stock from the main warehouses before Christmas to get rid of it and not bothering ordering new waves. This happens alot with Star Wars stuff too. I remember when Darth Revan came out the week before Christmas the only store that had any of the wave at all was GameStop. It was like the big chains didn't bother even ordering the wave.
2 Spinisters and 4 Apefaces at the Brandt Pike Walmart in Huber this afternoon, as well as some assorted 35th anniv. figures. They're all up toward the front in the holiday toy section. The actual toy section in the back was pretty barren and looked like a hot garbage tornado blew through.
