    Wasn't it a clear red insert over a chromed piece for his eyes originally? My u.s. version was, but had clear yellow over the chrome. I remember because i got the nonnef red eyes kit to make him more accurate.

    I waited to see a couple digibashes to see if I liked it any more.
    And.... nope. No way. MP-13 is my jam. This is the opposite of my jam.
    Yeah, I like those heroic proportions, the detailed sculpt, everything about MP-13 looks better to my eyes.
    The thing this one can do is be super-articulated. If it can pose its butt off, a kick MP-13's ass in that way, that could be a game changer.
    So far I have no indication of how its articulation is engineered.

    That's odd, Takara Soundwave has red clear plastic with chrome behind it normally. Are they painting the eyes for some reason now?

    If they worked on all the carbots and made them similar height to Koot, Hoodlum and Jabber, I would be in on the lot.

    Yeah, I've never been happy with how small Takara made the carbots. They have always looked like minibots next to MP-10.

    i have never been happy with the carbots size always thought they were a wee bit too small but fanstoys would really need to pull something special out of the bag for me to replace them

    Only carbot I would replace would be Sideswipe. Badcube and Takara both leave a lot to be desired.

    After owning FT Hound, I know they can make badass S1/S2 carbots.

    I'd be mighty tempted if they did. Both the labor and Nissan bros could definitely do with an upgraded hight and look.

    My current shelves are about a 40 - 60% split between TT and FT. The older TT boys could go if FT did a better job.
