This game can be really frustrating...like why do I put all my highest bots on the same team so I can do the hardest mission available just to get 140k of each resource? I might as well divide the best bots among multiple teams and run lower level missions!

What's more fun that dropping all your bots in the same spot, only to have the whole team march on the base...except the 2 bots whose abilities you needed to take out the defenses?
No, those 2 bots walk all the way around the wall instead so that their abilities are just out of range while the rest of the team gets wrecked! :/

Hell, I once had a bot I needed close to the team stand and hack at a wall for like 10 seconds...only to walk all the way around the wall after he broke through it!!

 

That's why pathing and deployment is so important in this game. Being deliberate with what defenses and buildings you destroy and when and where bots are deployed on the landing pad have a major impact on the outcome of the battle.

 

BBR is correct but SA also said they were working on an update to try and resolve at least some of the pathing issues regarding walls. It was mentioned in last week's newsletter I think? This has been a problem for the longest time. I doubt they'll ever get it 100%.

 

What core is everyone running on their lugnut/ elita one if they don't have the bot specific one? I only have it in bronze, which isn't good enough.

 

Probably gonna put the Delorean core on mine when he grows up

 

I can't speak from experience as I've only used his G1 but I've heard Megatronus, Vector, Quintus. Onyx might even be an option. If none of those then rejuvenate.

 

Anyone having issues opening the app on iOS? Mine starts initializing but freezes when it gets to 6%

 

I alternate cores on her depending on how I'm using her and if I'm running Slash. When leveling with Elita, I use Megatronus, but I usually have it on Slash. Her core is good, but if you only have it in bronze, there may be other cores. Onyx, alchemist and vector are also popular choices.

Try force closing the game, log out of Game Center, then repoen the game without logging into GC. It should load then. At that point you can log back in to GC, or it may auto log in anyway.

 

I have megatronus on my deathsaurus/star saber. I think I only have rejuvenate on slash, I'll have to check.

ImI about to demote bludgeon, and move up either DS or Sentius or motormaster, and he has the sharkticon spawning prime core, so I can take it off him and use it.

 

And I just remembered I left a big something out of my previous rantings: I feel like the game knows what I want/need and isn't giving it to me on purpose. Especially when it comes to cores. Oh, we see you only use and have extensively leveled that bronze Thunderstorm core...here have 3 silver and a gold EMP Shock!
Who is good with a Tactician core? Because the game has decided I need 4 silver Tacticians.

Did they take out the G I Joe music in the new update?

 

I believe we have the option of choosing the music in the setting menu now, and the Joe music is an option.

Mine also seems to have the GI Joe music missing. I suspect when they pushed the update with the new splash screen, they did away with the GI Joe music.

 

Use those to level up better cores. I left a gold volatile mixture unused, and now I have 3. I had that happen with an air core when I didn't have ant air bots to use it on. Now I suddenly have many new air bots and wish I had held out for 1 more core.

 

This weekend's event gave me just enough shards to complete a 3 star and a 4 star crystal:



I still don't have a Lugnut, Runamuck, Tarantulas or Blot at any star level and my only regular Starscream is a 1 star.

Other than combiner parts, I really hope for a 3+ star Lugnut, Waspinator and G1 Megatron.

 

Runamuck doesn't join the game until next weekend's event @LoneDragon.

 

Well he's already on the in-game list of bots I don't have.

 

He's still not available yet.
