Well they listened to everyones feedback and they have improved heaps. Like I said i am glad I gave them another chance.

Like restaurants, if their food is crap and people give critical feedback that is an incentive to up their game

 

Their improvement started a year or two ago. I would argue last year they had less issues. The clock gets reset every year. If this year you have more issues than last year, then by definition you have regressed. And I am not talking just about XTB, it's FT as well. Jabber is a step down, full stop.

 

It's probably something to do with one figure not completely representing the output of one company. Same as when ppl don't judge FT solely on Jabber (which isn't a bad figure at all, it's clearly an older design).

Just a hunch.

 

I finally got the replacement shoulder for Overheat and while I am thankful I received it thanks to TCP who is always great, the results are not so great. In the end, the arm is fixed but its the same shitty plastic that is very sensitive to screw tightening and still cracks. If you are going to design something this small with small parts and screws with a lot of torque and holes in the same area on a part you cannot use crap plastic. I could also argue that some engineering changes could have been made for attachments if this was going to be the case but I feel that the design in the size of the robot provided a very toon accurate car and robot that I still love as a design. The arm now works because I disassembled the elbow and reused parts. One of the screws in the lower elbow was stripped and impossible to remove. I will keep this one in combined mode likely and have FT in robot mode.

I've just checked my Show.Z account and they've replied (I was expecting some kind of email notification  ), they're contacting XTB for a 'replacement'  

 

So he can play the "I know something you don't Know" game, lol.

 

Looks like TCP has Youth Deathwish in stock and Toy Dojo is also expecting it soon. Man, can't wait for that striped 928!
