Would it be wise to buy the thing now? I know I've said this a bazillion times about P-Bandai shit I never actually buy, but this case I'm worried the sale might run out of stock - I was hoping to snag it after Christmas but if it's a "special" release...
Dooooo.... itttt.. https://www.gundamkitscollection.co...Q9CH9QVXIecApyYJk5JtTjw297eR9BIcd8JU4sNQ9D82Q It does come with the stump shoulder...but what's the difference of the shoulder post connection between it and the Version RM Blitz Gundam? - Okay.. I'm done handling these parts without having to register myself on a database...
Oh shit. How do you get Zetas to hold on Action Base 1s like that? I have a way to affix my Zeta Plus C1 onto it buut I'm not sure how you'd get it onto the A1?
Thanks for the heads up! Put in an order, cuz I'm not gonna miss out on this one. I wonder if it's gonna get here before the end of the year. Either way, be it the G40 or the Barbatos that's coming in tomorrow, I'm ending the year on a high note.
Welp, order for the G40 placed. Looks like I'm gonna wait to get the Revive RX-78-2 built until I get this guy in, so I can build both around the same time and have a comparison between the idealized original and its stylized reinterpretation. Given the release date is January 12th of next year, if it gets to you within the next three weeks that would be extremely impressive.
Blue Fin directly is good for the price and acquisition.. but you're at the mercy of their Distribution schedule. The inventory of which Exclusives they get however is the real problem.
Guess who didn't click the "Product Information" tab to see the release date, lol But that works out perfectly. Gonna end this decade and start the next one right.
Man their website is... not well organized. And the search is atrocious. Categories aren't populated, the filter is basically useless, search returns everything as results. Ugh. But I ordered a G40 RX-78 anyways. Two actually, in case I mess it up and can't find another.
Indeed! .. And now I'm totally done with the Not-FrameArms Girl's torso. Much more modest than the low cut monokini. More red and Gunship Gray really makes a difference. Though I might add some white on the front of her collar. Do more to match the Astray armor motif, and I'll add more white on the rest of her in key locations. The bare skinned shoulders and thighs are cemented and sanded, after this pic was taken. I'm starting some of fhe detail painting I want to apply on her armored legs and forearms. You can also see the silver base coat for what would be the forehead sensor over her headband crest and what I've started painting on her backpack. On the downside, once you see it you can't unsee the resemblance to Deadpool's costume... Anyway, muggy weather from today is done and with the dry cold front coming in, I'll be able to get back on Sazabi.

Really digging the look of the Varguil. I hear Moon Gundam is a great kit but maybe that will be the version I build... Love those HG sentinel reissues. I’ve got the original release of the test type one in my pile, definitely looking forward to that build.
THE GUNDAM SHELF, (plus Etc. Mecha) exactly as i do with the C1. i use the narrowest out of the set of hip cradle adapters included with the ACTION BASE. i tightly wrap the prongs with PVC tape until the resultant jaw slips around and grabs the hip panel plate in WR mode with sufficient friction to support the weight of the model well; also, since i found myself dissatisfied with the lack of symmetry between the two models' shoulder markings, i decided to go hell-with-it, and deviate well off of the Amuro A1's canonical standard, so that it would reflect that of C1 closer; (i'm getting more confident in the application of those rub-ons. i suppose they DO look like they were painted-on, and i suppose that DOES make them worth the hassle. that said, they can nevertheless be quite troublesome.) (indeed, you MUST make absolutely sure to have rubbed the entire surface down, -preferably with something with a firm point, like the tip of a pair of tweezers- THOROUGHLY before attempting to lift the backing) interesting coincidence. all the same, those look Fab and all, but at 1/144, i can only begin to imagine how delicate and fiddly i would imagine them likely to be... OHHHHHHHH, NO. TO HELL WITH THAT NOISE.
COWARD I'm kidding, but yeah i know how you feel. I never really understood the appeal of these unless the appeal of this is combing both of Japan's most famous exports: mecha cute anime girls granted i will say this: I havent built / bought one, so maybe once i get my hands on it, my opinion could change. I did go out of my way to pre-order one but it wont release till April and to be honest the only reason i got it is if i happened to feel indifferent towards it at least I'll have a sweet sword for another model kit. looking back at this order, i probably shouldve gone for what goodsmile was offering with their Chitocerium line instead since i do have a higher interest in it. ah well giant sword managed to win me over...
i tend to prefer them more conservative and "Ladylike" myself. "Childish" even; honestly, this is just about as "Lewd" as i ever really like my Anime girls to get. nothing wrong with a little old-fashioned ladylike Femininity, especially as it seems a rather dying art these days;
