Bee really does bring out the best in all the other bots. It’s been so much fun recreating scenes and making up some new, funny scenarios with him!

Love the photo. Makes me wish Bluestreak came with an extra normal face with red eyes. It'd be good for representing that particular episode as well as the original toy.

That looks better. If Takara had done that, I'm sure I'd have still given them shit, but it's clearly better than the stock transformation.

I think the the difference lies in whether or not you’ve bought the figure. Coming to a thread and trashing it without having bought it or coming to a thread to let everyone know you’re not buying it adds no value. Coming to the thread and complaining after having bought it makes sense because you have a stake in it. There’s no reason for anyone to be upset about something they have no stake in. At least the people who praise the figure have (presumably) bought the figure or intend on buying it. Opinions are free, but some people here really be talking like they spent money. If you didn’t you shouldn’t feel so strongly about the damn thing and should kindly fuck off. If you did, continue complaining.

look, before everyone calls me a crazy Takara shill, I’m not the happiest with mp-45 either, but I knew what I was getting myself into. Nobody forced me to buy it and I’m not going to repeat everything everyone else has already said. WE ALL KNOW. He makes for a super expresseive deskbot.

So... I decided to get a replacement for my MP-45 which is thankfully in much better shape. However, trying to return my first MP-45 to Amazon Japan is turning out to be a total mess.

I went to DHL with everything packaged up, and all the return info printed out. After 30 mins of driving, DHL told me they don't print out any labels and that I have to buy and print them out online. When I try to do so, I can fill out all the info online except for the phone number (which is required) for the Amazon Ichikawa Return Center. For anyone else who went through a return to Amazon Japan, what number did you enter here?

Also, Amazon Japan provides a Commercial Invoice instructing you to "Give this invoice to the carrier you select to ship your return package. The invoice is required for customs. The carrier will not be able to return your package to Amazon without it." Did y'all give this to DHL or just included it in the package. I'm asking since I'm thinking of scheduling a pick up instead of driving to DHL again given how super-helpful they are.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help!

I haven't sent mine back yet, so I can't help with other part, but this is the phone number they gave me: 0120-999-373.

That was the number they gave me, too. The only thing I put inside the package (other than the figure of course) was the bar code they provide. Then I handed the two commercial invoices to the driver who picked it up. He was a bit confused but took them along with the other paperwork generated by DHL’s own site. I got refunded for the postage today so it all worked fine.

Thanks as well Ambitron. I can totally see the driver being confused by them as that’s pretty much exactly the look they have the papers at the DHL location I went to. :p

    This!

I refrain from trashing (too extreme) to criticizing any item unless I actually own one. Jobby (he makes it a living, at least he's stuck with a defective product (that latest Convoy Revo he broke must have been too painful to experience).

It's a free country and all but with some manners/etiquette to follow. Whining about something you don't have a stake at (or own or claim to own)is just again trying to validate oneself for something out of nothing:lolol

    So x infinity Trunkkey!:thumb

Thanks for sharing that alternative foot config. I think it does a good job reducing the flip flops look he has.

I haven't seen anyone posting alternative backpack configs so here's one I've been using. You move the alt mode's fake head part (square piece attached to the bumper) independently from the bumper so that it ends up in his upper back and the bumper moves to the bottom of the backpack. I think it improves the kibble aesthetics a little because you end up aligning similar shapes of kibble -- the rounded rectangle shapes of the 2 lower arms and the same with the curved shapes of the bumper and hood. To me, it looks like a smaller backpack is attached to his normal angled toon back vs his entire back looking like a giant curved shape.
If anyone attempts this, make sure you loosen the black screw as it seems to be overtightened and I saw the unfortunate pic of destructimus prime's broken part.

Monkeying with that part made me think that this may be the first MP TF that has a fake bot mode part represented on the alt mode. (I don't count Ironhide/Ratchet's fake toy head behind the windshield since it doesn't represent anything on the toon bot.) Pretty crazy that they attempted 2 types of fake parts in such a small toy.
