I just search kijiji in Canada or Craigslist in the states, when I lived there, for display cabinets and see what comes up. They are retail displays but I’m usually buying them from people who have had them for a while and I don’t really go for anything expensive. I’ve been lucky and have found a few for $50 or under with the intention of redoing them. I’ve taken the rotating display apart and have decided to remake the entire center section. I’ve already started it but I’ve had other projects come up so I probably won’t have it finished until the new year.

Craigslist is as also up in Canada as well.

Go to the furniture selection, type in glass cabinets/display shelves and see what results up.

Does anyone here in use a double sized Frabrikor for their collection?

I have seen a single Frabrikor being used on this tread so far (not counting the Milsbo).

Anybody try any of the Brimnes with the glass doors? I was thinking about getting the smaller one for my diecast collection.

Thanks very much. I made it myself when I was at Uni on a metal work lathe. That was 2 happy weeks!

Yeah my shoulders also seem to get that bit tenser when the kids are running around the house with Nerf guns.

Sorry no, I did not make them and my dad did not keep a list. The top displays are made with laminate they sell at home depot in 4x8 ft. sheets. They are attached to frames using nails and the wood frame is assembled with small metal plates with teeth that your hammer into the wood to attach the two.

    The lights are these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NPVPR2D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The bottom units are cube displays from Big lots. He removed the center columns attached a plate of laminate to the back and then hammered nails through the laminate into the long shelf for support.

New collector here with a smaller collection so far. I'm using the single Fabrikors. Below is my first, I'm currently building my second and have another 2 in storage for when I need them.

I've since added FT Quietus T to the bottom shelf and it's rather full and have X-Transbots Andras on the way, hence me building the second one to house the Decepticons, which will then let me space out the Autobots as I want them.

Using the dark grey Fabrikors from IKEA with their Dioder light kit. Used a little black insulatiing tape to conceal the white wiring along the roof.
