The Toyhax/Reprolabels set for TF Prime Prowl is so impressive that I thought it deserved to be on a custom figure. I decided to enhance Prowl by giving him the head of Mach Alert (the cop car Autobot in 2000's TF Car Robots) who was called Prowl anyway in the English version (2001's TF Robots In Disguise). The figure has a glamorous design but I'm not super fond of the facial styles from TF Prime, and besides, Prowl is constantly getting new versions while poor Mach Alert never gets any love. Mach Alert's head was tricky to attach, but once I did it I found actually fits better in vehicle mode than the original head does. I added a pair of pistols from Nonnef's Titans Return Perceptor set (I think?) so that Prowl can go all gun-fu like Chow Yun Fat. I also added a Nirvana Missile Upgrade unit to the roof/shield, I think it integrates quite nicely in both modes. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how this little project turned out.
