You should instantly take pics and report it to WotC. Provide them proof and they will replace it.

 

Did any one else not get all out attack and tandem targeting system? I don't see them anywhere in the box.

 

I cannot find them in my box either.  

 

They don't come with the package. It will be sent later as a Thank You from WotC.

 

How are they arriving? UPS, USPA, FEDEX?

 

Got mine today. the cards look great! Unfortunately I did not get any SRT from the packs :-(

 

Don't know. The responses to the question about the AOA and TTS cards I have seen did not mention who WotC is using as the delivery handler for those 2 cards. If I had to make a guess, based on cost, it would be USPS.

I think they meant All Out Attack and Tandem Targetting not the whole box.

 

Still waiting for these to arrive. Should get them on Wednesday. WotC provided two tracking numbers via UPS. One shows movement while the other still reads "Shipment ready for UPS", so I'm assuming that second one will contain the two copies each of Tandem Targeting System and All Out Attack.

 

@Peaugh's review/unboxing was posted here over a week before this was officially released. So you would have been well aware of what you were getting, and the quality. This to me sounds more like buyer's remorse than anything else.

In that regard, I'm see a lot of people selling the character cards individually on the many facebook groups for roughly what the originals are valued at. So worst case scenario, you shouldn't have much trouble breaking even. Plus there's the matter of the single Tandem Targeting System and All Out Attack you'll eventually receive. You shouldn't have much trouble making your money back if you decide to sell everything.

 

Most likely the same shipping method (at least from what I have seen).

 

Since WotC is shipping out just 2 cards and the protective packaging, I can see them using USPS instead of UPS for that.

 

The character cards are great. But the holographic Battle cards are much thicker than the regular battle cards. I did some testing, and unsleeved, sleeved, double sleeved, I was able to easily differentiate between foil battle cards and non-foil battle cards during and after shuffling.

 

Again, if they're going to skip Wave 2 in favor of covering all other waves but 2, get ready for rage. I guess there will be combiners again in April.

I'm sorry you felt attacked by my response. I did genuinely try to offer advice for parting with the Energon Edition cards that would net you a complete return if that was your goal. I'm sorry it came across as condescending. I'm really sorry you were not happy with the the character cards after getting them in-hand, especially considering yours appeared so severely damaged. That really is a tough break. Please don't let me be the driving force that causes you to leave this site. I know all too well how one can feel attacked and ganged up on by the community here when the 'in' crowd is presented with an opinion that differs greatly from the 'norm'.

I hope you'll accept my apology, and will continue to experience what this site has to offer. Believe me, friend. Life is too short to worry about what random internet people think about you.
