I like base mode Transformers, and seeing as Titan Class figures are out of my budget and take up a bit more space than I have available, I am fully on board for Ironworks and other "Modulator" Transformers. The ends of Ironworks' ramps make me hopeful that it will be possible to connect them together.

the ankles, and also about the head/neck area transformation joint needing to be sanded down so it doesn't pop off.
also the kibble colliding with other kibble in the arm and back area,

i believe that's the case actually. that one battlemaster forms a ramp and i remember someone posting a picture from a magazine of hoist's ramp connected to ironworks. so hopefully he's not one of a kind and there's more micromaster bases coming. personally i want them to say "screw it" and make a voyager or leader class bot that turns into countdown's shuttle base and breaks up into enough parts to armor up two bots at a time.

all the old micromaster bases could connect so the new ones should as well.

I don't often trash talk TFs I'm not into but MP-45 Bumblebee really does look like complete garbo. I hadn't really paid much attention to it aside from thinking his proportions were weird, but after watching Jobby's review and seeing it in action, wow, MP Blackarachnia may have a flawless robot mode at the expense of the spider mode, but MP-45 goes so far in the opposite direction it's absurd. Like, what is the deal with that opening doors "feature", and even worse, how you actually get the Spike figure in the "driver's seat"? And those faces, yeesh...

I think Bumblebee is a fun toy. I also think he may just be the most controversial MP in the last decade.

I really don't want Beast Wars in WFC like some people are hoping for. I've loved the line so far and I don't reckon it'll happen anyway, but I just couldn't see myself buying them if it did. It might be quite a risk to a massively popular line both creatively and financially, too.

I respectfully disagree with you on Beast Wars being a risk. Beast Wars is a much-loved series and I could easily see versions of the transmetal figures fitting into the siege line, especially with the next part of the Seige line being EarthRise.

Oh, so that's what parts-forming means. I didn't understand but was too embarrassed to ask. Thanks for inadvertently answering my question. :)

Historically BW stuff hasn't moved all that well since BW, with the exception of the collector oriented JP MP stuff. I know lots of people loved and still love it, but it needs a massive push to put it in the public zeitgeist. Luckily for BW fans that looks to be happening with the modern cartoon/toy series.

You will NEVER convince the weebs of that. EVER.

Ditto, I enjoyed the animation, but very few toys appealed to me, as overall, robots turning into animals never really worked for me, the concept isn't logical, and technically, having robots turning into organic animals from closing panels, rotating arms and legs and such is beyond science fiction, it's simply pure fantasy.

I know that there's a lot of fans of the concept, but I would consider "Beast war figures" to be separate from the rest of the WFC, and would be best as a stand-alone series/line, should they go ahead with making them.

That’s simply not true. It was being used to shame women in the north of England (where I grew up) when I was a kid in the 1980s - in fact to me his name has never not been funny.
