Despite everything else that I have gotten since, Jetfire remains my best and favorite Siege figure of all.

I'm just afraid that nothing in Earthrise will come close to how awesome this guy is.

Of course, he's my favorite Transformers character, so I might be biased just a bit. :)

Do Astrotrains arms actually fold out like this? And if so, do they look this weird in real life?

The purple pieces lock in. It's a tight fit, but nice and solid.

I prefer just the way it came. But that's just my opinion.

So I promised a picture of all my Decepticons some time ago...it took quite a while to dig out all of the terrain and props I needed...
Then I realized that even with all the room on my "large stage", there's not enough space for the Burt!

I think Mirage is gonna turn out to be one of the more underrated figures of this line, mostly just because of his faux chest, which put many fans off the figure. Also how his arms fold up as the spoiler on the car. But, in hand, Mirage turned out for me to be a standout figure.

I mean I’m not really into racing, but I’d take Mirage out on the track. To me, this just looks super cool.

Everything holds together nicely after a very unique transformation with a couple clever tricks (love how the rear wheels fold into his back). I would’ve preferred solid plastic to the translucent blue, but I won’t deny how appealing it still looks contrasted with the whites and silvers and the very nice Autobot symbol on the nose. Only drawback for me to this figure is that I don’t like how his weapons store on the fins of the spoiler. Oh well, they look good on him in robot mode.

I still may get the Toyhax label set for him because I’m not really a big fan of the Cybertronian writing. Aside from needing maybe a bit more blue on the sides of his chest (labels), Mirage looks like he jumped right off the screen. There’s some good design aesthetics and engineering going on in this figure. And I think that’s gonna help Mirage linger in your memory. The computer renders of this character did not do him justice, I was so worried about his legs being so awkward. I don’t have that worry anymore. Especially when he can pull off poses like the one above.....

....and a crazy overhead attack stance and still stay balanced, deal sealed. Mirage deserved his fan vote win, even if I didn’t vote for him, because he turned out to be better than expected, at least for me. That is a true testament of a good toy.

This is a tough one,but what SIEGE figure do you guys think is the best overall?

I'm torn between Ironhide and Spinister.

Spinister or Voyager Prime for me. I think I like Spinister slightly better.

Ironhide is the best figure we’ve gotten of him in a mainline release, but I think Ratchet wears the mold better. Spinister is trying to sneak in at the last minute as the best Deluxe of the line, which he might just be. Best Siege figure overall though....., that’s a toughie......., but I’m inclined to agree with @smf2045 and say Skyfire is the best one. Absolute marvel of engineering and design! Probably the most screen accurate figure of the line IMO. Lots of features and accessories add loads of playability. I’m glad people are finding him cheap now, but even at the $80 I paid for Skyfire, totally worth it.

If money is no object, then Omega Supreme.

Otherwise, Jetfire is also an excellent figure to have.

Yeah... ...I put Shockwave up for sale on my ebay. It's not a great figure to me. I think if they really wanted a leader class Shockwave then they should have made one that is an actual leader class. Instead they made a lanky voyager with extra bits. Like, it's not the worst figure, but it does nothing for me at all.
If any of you want it pm me, and i'll link you to the ebay listing.

    Hilarious! Hahahah!

The more of these I see, the more I feel like I should try to get my Scavengers collection going.

    Brilliant! They're altogether!
