Good on them for the engineering but that car mode is ugly as sin.
I honestly would have sacrificed more in robot or jet mode for a better looking car mode since a jet and robot can include more unexplained tech bits and what have you.
Jet mode looks good, but I'm not digging the robot mode legs and crotch area either.
A pass I'm afraid. The car mode is just way too bad for me to ever be satisfied with the entire package.
I would settle for a Shatter with just one mode done awesome in mp scale.

 

Very impressive indeed, the car mode is the worse mode, but at least it looks good enough, now fill it with ratchets and I will buy 3 of them.

But its possible they will fine tune and tweak things to fix the wheels later on, TW did tweak things for Freedom leader.

 

I like Shatter and Dropkick better than Optimus and the rest of the cast, because they look more like Bayformers.

 

I enjoyed them because they had an actual personality.

 

Yeah, they sacrificed the car mode here but what they achieved through that is pretty amazing. Toyworld's engineering is incredible, their sculpt still needs to match that though, a lot of the figure lacks details from the movie and some parts could use a little more curves (which the car mode could use too). But hey, that's just nickpicking, most details are there - hell, even the jet's front wheel is in the abs which is freaking crazy.

EDIT: Matched both images from the head down, could be the angle but TW Shatter seems a little short for some reason. Some of the proportions don't match but for a triple-changer movie figure I guess that's expected.

The wings need a lot of work, the tail is half the size it should be, and it's the wrong type of Harrier.

Doubt it, no 3P company has gotten Slingshot right either. It's pretty clear they are just grabbing "random Harriers from random decades" or something.

"Harrier" is not specific enough to "google as reference what comes up". It's like saying "Corvette"----well, a 1955, 1985, and 2015 model all are quite different, and if you pick the wrong year, it's not going to look right...

I do not like the live action designs, but if that jet is really in that car and that car is really in that jet I may have to go ahead and get this anyway.

 

Bot mode looks really good,jet mode looks good...car mode looks......not that great....The tiny wheels and the sides not being as curved kinda ruins it but its ok i guess?
