Still no sight of Sparkplug...

 

I have to say that I'm not a fan of how slim Prime's shoulders are in basic robot mode, but I think that's an acceptable sacrifice for such a good looking combined mode.

 

Hmm, I love the super mode, but everything else is too off for me to say I think it'll be a good update. Gonna get it to support 3P Armada figures, but I think he'll spend a lot more time on the shelf than in my hands compared to the original Bendy Prime.

And yeah, looks like they're not doing Sparkplug.   Might have to look into a Legends scale 3P Sunstreaker...

 

How do they think they can get away with passing that off as accurate? Combined mode has knees!

Not only is there no Sparkplug in the photos, but there's also no Minicon ports whatsoever which is concerning. I've always love Minicons (Sparky especially) and I always wanted to see more posable versions of them. It'll suck if he doesn't make it. Not a deal-breaker, but still.

my thoughts exactly though I still have the original and bendy prime with both of their mini cons so no sparkplug is not a deal breaker for me.

 

Good lord I can't wait for an update for Armada Optimus Prime, Jetfire and Overload. An absolute grail of a figure for me. This has so much potential!

 

Looking at it, I appreciate that they did it, but there are so many disappointing details that I wish were changed. The super mode having the cannons for kneecaps instead of in his shins, the smokestacks on the back.and not the sides, his super mode head has more Captain America wing ears rather than the Rodimus pipes. Super minor shit that no one pays attention to, but it's weird and sad that they included such inaccurate designs.

 

It's still early in development so things can change like their Overlord and PM Prime. I think if fans are vocal enough here and on social media they might make changes here and there. I think they have the basic frame down right now, but I agree with you now the finer details need to be brought to life.

 

I haven't followed them very closely, didn't realize those two had any significant changes during production

 

Their Overlord was one of the first renders they ever showed as a new company and it went through a massive overhaul from start to finish. The tank component on the final product looks nothing like the old 3D renders. PM Prime also had numerous changes done as well.

 

So should we start REEEEEing and whining to them incessantly until they change it? Legitimately asking, do 3Ps notice if we criticize civilly or do we need to make an outrage for them to consider changing?

 

I am not sure but probably need to do it respectfully as to not kill any chances of other third party offerings.

 

Here is the original announcement render of FH Overlord, there are some noticeable differences on the jet if you know where to look, but the tank is completely different.

If there is enough constructive criticism they are likely to look into it to appease fans.
