I genuinely think for the time being 3P is going to be the only producer of UT figures, Hasbro and Takara are too busy with the G1 fanwank currently. I love G1 though FYI.

 

I've rewatched Armada about six times this year, (yes) and I don't remember any instance of Cyclonus getting called Demolishor. It certainly wasn't in the Nemesis Prime episode as Cyclonus didn't even go to the planet it was set on when they fought Nemesis and got their Powerlinx upgrades.

There was that one time Demolishor straight up had Smokescreen's voice in Union. Wack.

 

It was definitely something to do with either Cyclonus or Demolisher, I just can’t remember what happened it has been a long while since I watched it all the way through. I might genuinely be thinking of the Smokescreen thing.

Takara does have their Armada Prime on the way, so I wouldn't entirely discount them, and this is the most developed 3P UT piece after Galaxy Meteor, the rest being stuck in development hell

 

Yeah I know, but I’m sure the most recent Armada homage from a mainline was that collectors club/SDCC Thrust repaint of a CW Arielbot as far as I know. It’s unlikely unless that Prime they teased is the start of a UT homage line.

Maketoys announced the other two seeker colors of their Starscream (despite Thundercracker being a different body and Skywarp being a repaint of him), and their Galaxy Prime and Megatron, but those are MIA. Rhere's Cold Constructs who has a Scattorshot up on preorder with plans of a Hot Shot, Jetfire, and Overhaul, but he's a one-man band and struggling to fund the project (help him!), then Transform N' Rollout has their Cybertron Prime due next year. No Cyber Key, that can be seen, and only got as far as a colored render yet.

 

Yeah these shows are on par with G1 quality but they get shit on WAY more than they deserve. Its baffling

 

He could not fund the project, so they are suspended indefinitely, unfortunately.

 

even if it doesn't come with sparkplug I will still probably get as its the only new version (aside from Takara's) that's out their third party or Hasbro.

Hope we get more 3rd Party figures of the Armada cast. I would like to get updated versions of the entire UT characters.

My top wanted are
Armada Starscream, Hotshot, Smokescreen, Red Alert, Scavenger, Sideways, Red Alert, Thrust, and Demolishor.

Energon Inferno, Ironhide, Superion Maximus, Scorponok, Shockblast and Bruticus Maximus.

Cybertron Wingsaber, Thundercracker, Scattershot, Vector Prime, Overhaul, Thunderblast, and Landmine.

 

Arguably the only proportionate one so far. Takara has been pretty quiet about theirs so far
