Yeah, given the time frame of the OT release, Western movies just weren't being shown in mainland China so there's zero nostalgia factor for Chinese moviegoers to fall back on. Ain't no member-berries, to put it simply.  

That and too much homework to catch up on to be fully up to speed with the ST, apparently.

 

Even if you like the DT, why would you buy this? It looks like it would try and kill you in your sleep.

 

If that is true about Anakin getting screwed over that will really piss me off. The fact these new movies just shaft Anakin/Vader to this extent who supposed to be the main character overall of 1-6 just to not appear in 7 and 8. If they were actually going to go to the effort to bring him back in 9 just to cut it seems to be a major waste a time. Also again it is done to focus on these new characters who I barely if not at all care about. If you do something with Anakin/Vader that is interesting it will at least give me and some fans something to care about. But no delete the scenes that could give us some sense of connection to the overall story so it can just go back to new characters are everything!

EDIT: It is not like I need a lot of a force ghost Anakin in the movie but just something. Give me as much ghost Anakin as there is of Obi-Won in ESB or RotJ. Just two-three little moments of the character being there just so it does not feel like the forgot it supposed to be him and his son's story. I really do not think that is too much to ask for. What this movie needs to do to stick the landing for me at least is to do something satisfying with Anakin and Luke ghosts (all Obi-Won and Yoda would be nice to but I have little hope) just do something with these characters instead of dumping them to the side. But no let go introduce new characters like Jannah out of no where and expect everyone to suddenly care about some random person joining the story in the last moment. Not saying you can't introduce new characters but do something with the ones you already have! Not saying this character will get a lot of focus or not because who to say based off the posters and marketing.
