    What.

I read this a few times and I am not sure what you are trying to say. “Kylo Ren” was always destined to “die.” It simply has to be part of the ST. Ben Solo does not.

Kylo Ren was never Vader, will never be Vader and this point was established in the first scene we see him in.

I don’t know what you are “Mareysuing” about it’s a stupid reactionary term.

Extremely predictable if true. I hope the spoilers arent true for sake of the movie actually being good. The other two movies were dumb though, so no idea why i would expect this one to be any different or well written in any way.

You might be literally the only person who actually gives a shit about Ben Solo. And if the most recent leaks are accurate, Ben Solo will die as Kylo Ren.

Your communication style can be difficult at times. Are you trying to have a rational conversation or just through around crazy shit. I honestly don’t know.

If they hadn't brought back the emperor, I would agree that Kylo Ben would have to die. If that had been the case, he would have been this generation's ultimate evil that must be destroyed for catharsis. But bringing back Palpatine, and assuming he has been secretly orchestrating and manipulating Kylo Ben, it makes KB just another victim in evil Palp's big scheme (similar to Vader), so I'd say he KB has a 50% chance at redemption now. He may die right after, but he still has a shot at it. It would be almost ironic since he has been trying to follow in Vader's footsteps that there may be a chance for to go out in the same way.

He's not going to go out in the same way. You think they're not going to let Rey defeat the Emperor, something even Luke didn't do?

I literally said out loud "No please, put it back on!" once he took off the helmet. Not just his emo whiny temper, I never seen Adam Driver before and his face looked like that of an awkward teenager... Sorry just hard to take him seriously in this role. He was great in The Man Who Killed Don Quixote as an eccentric director though.

Oh no, sorry, they will totally give that to her. i just meant at the end of his life, he would realize how wrong he is. Then he would sacrifice himself to save/protect her (defensively). But she will totally be the one who *finally* destroys Palpatine. Until he comes back for the next trilogy that needs an ending.
Adding Palpatine to the ST has the same risks as adding Darth Maul in at the end of Solo. Hardcore fans will get it, but the other portion of the audience who may not know who he is, or why is back, might be mystified.

I'm also in the camp of Kylo Ren should die. Even if his spirit is redeemed, he has too much innocent blood on his hands to not answer for that. Genocide level blood if we factor in the war crimes in the Marvel Comics run if we're beholden to the "everything is canon" rule. Yes, his parents would not want that if they could choose despite being the Heart of Star Wars like some earlier said, maybe it's not necessarily the Jedi way, but in a possibly post-Jedi galaxy, justice must be done for all the families and lives ruined by Kylo directly and by the First Order indirectly. If the New Republic (or would it be the New New Republic??) can't get that right, then maybe they don't deserve to be a government.

Maybe the greatest irony of "let the past die" is if Kylo's death is also the end of the Skywalker and Solo blood line.

    Nah,

Rey dies from going SSJ, and Ben gives his life force to her. Then they snog and he croaks.

It would be more surprising if he didn't predictably die upon his equally predictable redemption. Abrams is a tracer, afterall, not a drawer, so I'm confident it's a foregone conclusion that Emo Vader here will follow in ol' Grandpappy Vader's footsteps as closely as possible.

And that's how we're going to learn Rey had cooties.

Okay, so can it be said that Disney had no plan for the sequels; that they just planned to bank on the brand new until The Last Jedi messed everything up?

Well, they kinda had a plan but then Abrams and Arndt went with their own and then Johnson kinda remembered that there was another plan before, but at this point it was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and then Abrams went back to his own ideas, and so there was nothing but a merry f*ckup anyway.

    Enjoy!

Too many plans equals, effectively, no plan.

Kinda like the Paramount's TF writers room but in a different way.

I think no one should die. It would break new ground. Ben has to live with himself secluded in a temple somewhere. Hux goes to a republic prison for war crimes. Phasma is seen roaming a dead planet somewhere, right back where she started.

It still boggles my mind that all these spoilers got out and yet they talk about the iron clad security and secrecy on these films.
