I’m really excited, I had some extra money and decided to buy myself Azalea! I already have rouge but azalea seems like the more transformation friendly figure. I’m still partial to Rouge’s bot mode but I’ve had my eyes on Azalea since she was announced!!!
Also seeing all her range of poses have me really excited to put her on display!

 

What version did you decide to get?

 

Well I bought her used but mint on eBay and I’m gonna assume it’s the original one.

 

Also curious, what’s the difference between Azalea PS-04 and PS04A?

New release has a darker shade of of the color pink?

 

She's fun. Rouge is still my MP display Arcee but Azalea is much more fun to play with.

 

Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking when looking at the two of them!! Rouge is my official shelf piece while Azalea is the one I transform and mess around with.

Yeah I’ve been wanting her for a while but funds are tight so when I saw that listing I jumped!

 

The new release also has no grey and a lot of white. The original Azalea faces are all gone and replaced by the Zinnia faces.

 

Also the original release is actually out, the repaint was due out a month ago but so far no sightings?

 

According to the PSX website, it's been delayed til either March/May of next year.

Pre-ordered with PSX once it was posted and paid by Paypal. Free shipping is still avaible since I last checked during the second week of November (don't know as of right now).

 

Nah. The knee, thigh hinge, inner torso assembly, and hip parts are still grey as is the chest vent and the rim around around the abdomen details which was maroon on the toon version.

The only grey absent vs the toon version is the abdomen and ankle cylinders which is accurate to the the studioox art.

 

Bummer. Wish they'd stop pushing back the cool stuff for the combiners. Thanks for the heads up on the delay. Keeping my pre-order with an NA retailer so I won't miss out whenever it does arrive.

 

Love your photos man, I have Azalea enroute in the mail atm, can't wait to get her. Wick question, how did you do the mascara? Was it just a humble, fine point sharpie?

 

Right my bad. The white tummy was more the point I was trying to convey.

 

Nope. I used testors enamels. Gloss black for the mascara. Gloss red for the lipstick. Flat gray for the open mouth. I mix three parts paint into one part thinner. I use a 10/0 script liner brush to apply the paint. Errors can be DRY brushed away with a fine tip cotton swab that's been dipped in thinner.
